Peter Parker is constantly broke, barely making rent, romantic love life is usually swirling down the drain. His whole story is getting shyt on by the author as much possible. Atleast Batman has a swanky mansion to retreat to.

Came in to post the exact same thing. Peter would crack mentally in Gotham after a few weeks
I love Bats, but Gotham should have been introduced to martial law a long fukking time ago, and 80% of those villains need to be put before a firing squad.
