Spider man is just not equipped to deal with the joker. Kraven the hunter gave him one of his biggest Ls because he knew how to mind fukk him.

Spidermans villains are way stronger but alot of them are dumb as FUKK and easily tripped up outside of the real hittas.
Batmans villains see usually weak as fukk but conniving as hell and come with at least 100 to 200 goons READY
Spiderman would have trouble with:
Bane (kingpin and kraven combined)
Deathstroke (taskmaster/deadpool vibes)
Poison Ivy (flower punani poison)
Clayface (weaker sandman but no punk)
Killer Croc (a weaker lizard but no punk)
Red Hood (think punisher but worse)
Scarecrow (fear toxin)
Ra's Al Ghul/Talia (immortal ninja terrorist like the hand but with more hitters)
Joker and Harley (Joker gas and just too chaotic for Pete, he would snap with these two)
Everybody else is kinda light work
Bats could put the beats on Shocker, Vulture, Mysterio, Hammerhead, Tombstone, Chameleon, Rhino and Kingpin, maybe Scorpion just off them being retarded and/or arrogant.
Everyone else is just too deadly, psychotic and intelligent and would probably either cripple or outright kill him in a random encounter. Kraven, Venom, Green Goblin, Carnage, Doc Ock, Lizard, Sandman, Morbius, or Mister Negative.
Norman would be the worst cause hed basically be fighting a mirror version of himself that has the personality and resources of a Lex Luthor and Joker combined.

Is this really a debate? like someone said Bane regularly bullies Batman, how is he gonna even deal with Green Goblin, Morbius etc? People saying Spiderman would go into a mental breakdown like Peter ain't mentally tough and a genius himself

Spider sense is op but its not almighty or else Mysterio really would be giving him these issues with his 3d illusions. And he got poisoned by Scorpions tail with some hallucinogenic made by Octavious that had him trippin balls and taking damage from ilusions. Scarecrow and Joker both got shyt worse than that, and Joker would definitely learn about Aunt May/MJ/Miles and have a FIELD day with that until Pete gets
