If Rick Ross doesn't sell more than TM103 will it be considered a flop?

It's weird. I don't listen to Jeezy at all and I bump Ross HEAVY. But for some reason I'm rooting for Jeezy on this.

I part of me still tight Rozay styled on fif (by staying relevant)

I got him do 290K or 305K in week 1.

Finally a confident stan comes into the thread.

I don't have any question he should outsell Jeezy due to his self promotion, and promotion in the media hype, blog hype...he should outsell Jeezy by 100K....I remember nikkas talkin about how Jeezy had no buzz and mocked the way his singles wuznt as succesful as usual, remember that shyt:mjpls:...said the nikka Jeezy wuz dead and had no buzz whatsoever?and nobody checkin for em.....well ya boy Ross has all the buzz in the world and the entire hype machine seems to be behind em...this shoulddnt be a problem, let this legend Ross sell 400K first week like legends who have the streets and the mainstream have always been able to do...I believe he can do it

GFID is to Ross what C3 was to Wayne in terms of anticipation(obviously the buzz for C3 was much higher).... anything under 300k is a disappointment. It is what it is

No matter what numbers GFID does, people that don't like Ross will spin it as a flop.

In reality, one's numbers don't have anything to do with the other. Yes, they are rivals, but it's not like there was a challenge presented by either side in regard to album sales.

If it is a matter of numbers, then there's several factors to consider:

1) Jeezy dropped during the holiday season in which first week sales usually higher than normal for most artists.

2) Jeezy dropped in a climate in which Wayne did like 960K+ in one week and Drake did 680K+. Ross is dropping in a climate in which one of the biggest artists out there did 250K+.

^^^ I'm sure both 1 & 2 will be ignored by spin artists who will consider Ross's album a flop regardless.

The real question is will the "critics" give Ross his credit if he does sell well or will they divert to the typical "Def Jam bought records" excuse :mjpls:
