Yeah and when Cole came through and sold more it admitted that Cole got him. Go back and pull up the thread on SOHH. Stick to the topic :childplease: The industry wasn't call Finally Famous the album of the year and putting Sean at the top rapper in the game. Plus it was both their debut album. Ross stans been saying that Jeezy is done :russ:. Got get it twisted I'm a Ross fan.

- YOU were harping about how good FF was, and how it was gonna sell..

- Jeezy is done.. no one bumps his music like that.. when the last time you heard somebody bumping some new Jeezy, or CTE artists music..? damn, you that thirsty to get a thread popping asking common sense ass questions..?

You really comparing Ross and Jeezy situation to Sean and J.Cole . You saying Jeezy is done but Ross might or might not sale more than him :childplease:. Plus Ross had way more promotion than Jeezy. Again answer the question or get out the thread. Trying to have a honest discussion in this thread.

No one sells like that these days

He's supposed to have the streets on lock tho,and he's been hyped to be the biggest rapper in the game in the media next to Drake and Lil Wayne......its literally impossible to have the streets on lock and be hot mainstream and not sell 300K.....if jeezy can sell 233 with out a hit single and without nearly the promotion or guest features Ross has had building up to this:manny: that's a failure....300K should be the low projjection....streets and the mainstream? Or have nikkas been gassin:mjpls:

I'd say his singles did better then Ross. I don't dabble in all this sales stuff brah. Never hyped him up to be the most commercial artist out there or bragged about his sales so it doesn't matter to me:manny:

Calling bullshyt on this "way more promotion" stuff though...they're on the same label and pretty much get the same exact actual proper promotion...any difference in perception on that end falls on the artist as far as grinding and self promotion goes...ross has been hustling nonstop on the inhouse viral front and putting his team on...but personal grind some shyt you start handicapping sales for when they both have the actual machine behind them

WHY DO ALBUM SALES MATTER TO YOU?
IF HE DOESNT SELL MORE THAN JEEZY DOES THAT MEAN JEEZY ALBUM IS BETTER THAN ROSS'S ALBUM?
AGAIN WHY DO ALBUM SALES MATTER TO YOU?
ALBUM SALES DONT DETERMINE HOW GOOD THE MUSIC IS OR NOT SO WHY WOULD THIS MATTER TO FANS/HATERS?
IF YOU LIKE IT BUY IT AND SUPPORT IT/DONT WORRY ABOUT WHO ELSE BUYS IT OR DON'T BUY IT. IF YOU BUY IT AND IT DOESNT SELL ALOT YOU NOT GONNA LIKE IT NO MORE CAUSE ALOT OF PEOPLE DIDNT BUY IT WITH YOU?
IF YOU DONT LIKE IT DONT BUY IT/DONT WORRY ABOUT WHO ELSE BUYS IT OR DON'T BUY IT.IF YOU DONT BUY IT AND IT GOES PLATINUM YOUR GONNA GO BUY IT TOO CAUSE YOUR A FOLLOWER AND NOT A LEADER?
SIMPLE AS THAT CLOSE THESE WACK AS ROSS THREAD

You right sales shouldnt matter. But in Ross case if his album flop no matter how dope it is the industry gon hop on another niqqa dik. Those cosigns gon disappear so fast and transfer to Riff Raff or somebody.

Exactly. Same here I'm a fan of both. I can honestly say I like Ross album better so far. My think is that Ross is the hottest rapper in the game and the sales should show us all when it comes out next week. And Ross has had way more promotion than Jeezy. Would be a damn shame if he doesn't outsell Jeezy.

I'm a fan of jeezy but he put that out dec. 20th for the boost in sales. Every album around the holidays sells a little bit more.

commercially I think he's already surpassed jeezy, though it had a lower first week Teflon Don actually outsold 103 (it's sitting at like 750k...103 gonna max out at like 650k) because Ross continued to get bigger since it's release...
You're better than that breh. 103 has been out 6 months (released in December) and sits at 623,000. Teflon Don has been out for an even 2 years and as of May had 724,000 sold. You're telling me in 1 1/2 years Jeezy won't have sold that 100k difference?

What kind of argument is that? When did the imaginary, unprovable measurements of "people who bump his music like that" or "whips playing this song in the hood" somehow replace radio spins, album sales, and chart history? The album is past its release cycle, he's toured for it already, singles aren't coming out anymore so of course his music isn't getting bumped like it was in the winter and spring. When it comes to measuring relevance in ways that don't have to do with opinion, Jeezy's track with Ne-Yo did better than literally anything MMG's put out in the same amount of time. Better than anything on Rich Forever, Dreamchasers 2, Self Made Vol. 2 and GFID. Yeah, threadstarter definitely flip flopped when it came to Big Sean vs. Cole, but when you say things like Jeezy's done, then yes Ross will have flopped if he doesn't sell more.
