its not your fault. You're a Victim. Even your conditioning has been conditioned

I'm a fan of beautiful basketball.
I told yall before. I was a Kobe hater at the start. I stanned Jordan as a kid. When Kobe came on the scene in 1998 at the All-Star game I hated him cause the media was hyping him against Jordan. Then Jordan retired and I naturally gravitated to Kobe over time cause his game was just so beautiful to watch.
If Bron had stayed playing beautiful basketball then I might have become a fan of his. I'm not loyal to individuals. I'm loyal to what people do. I love Jordan and Kobe because they have entertained me more than any other athletes. If Bron had entertained me like them then I would be loyal to him as well.
Michael peaked with The Jackson 5Barry Bonds peaked in double A
AgreedMy favorite version of Bron was always from his high school years to about 2006.
Starting in the 2006-07 season he started to become too bulky and went from an exciting watch to a guy who was just trying to bulldoze people.
2009 LeBron was the most exciting version of LeBron. The most athletic version and ridiculous ignorant shot taker and maker.I agree he peaked in 2009. IMO that is the best LeBron ever was. What I was talking about in that post is when he was the most fun to watch. By 2009 he was primarily a pick n roll drive and kick type of player. That style is very boring to me. Sure in the open court Bron was spectacular. But over the entirety of a game he wasn't.
I'd rather watch Hakeem skillfully destroy an opponent over watching Shaq bulldoze guys. Similarly, I'd rather watch Jordan and Kobe skillfully destroy a team over watching Bron bulldoze into the paint dunking on guys.
For 2 of Bron's 3 rings he needed another player (Ray Allen and Kyrie) to hit do or die difficult long range shots. I'm not citing those shots to diminish Bron's ring count. I'm just telling you that in matchups between great teams in the Finals it comes down to the final moments and with the paint closed off difficult outside shots need to be hit. When your skill set is limited in that regard you hurt your chances to win championships.
I truly believe the 2010s were the weakest era in NBA history since the 70s. If Bron had patterned his game after Jordan he would have 6 rings right now and a strong claim to being the GOAT. He fukked up by just working to get more physically dominant rather than being more skilled.
Or that there was an OT after Ray Allen shot or that LeBron took over the 4th scoring or assisting on the majority of the points scored.Let's conveniently gloss over the fact that Bron hit a series-clinching 20 foot jumper in Game 7 of the 2013 Finals, why don't we?
