pac was a bigger & more intriguing entity than biggie, regardless of who died first.
i didnt say nas isnt well-known. i just said hes not as known as heavy d. if youre gonna butt into somebody else's convo, at least be on point.
who started the thread?
Put your love for Pac to the side for a second and think. If Biggie died first things would have been a lot different because all fingers would have been pointed at Tupac for all the death threats and sh*t talking he did. All that bigger entity sh*t would have gone right out the window and turned into hatred. If Biggie would have gotten killed in LA on September, 7th 1996 Pac woulda been the first one they blamed cuz Pac was going the hardest while Biggie didnt even want beef. Biggie would have gotten nothing but sympathy and the hatred for Pac would have been strong. When Biggie got killed fingers were pointed at Suge.....so of course they would have blamed Pac for Biggies death if the tables were turned.
thats neither here nor there. the point is, you jumped in when i was responding to somebody else......which is cool, but when you do that, you gotta be on point. you took my comments way out of context and eventually started poppin chit on the sly as well.
not cool at all.
its not about favoritism.
and you act as if your average brainwashed no-nothing doesnt blame pac for biggie's death anyway.
and are we gonna act like puff hasnt been directly or indirectly indicated in pac's murder numerous times? that hasnt stopped him from prancing around for the past 16 years.
people who didnt even listen to rap knew who pac was years before he died. bottom line is: big was a rapper. while pac was a more popular rapper, a more controversial rapper, a bigger star, an actor, an activist, a poet, a black panther, mutulu shakur's step-son, etc, etc.
and lets be real, biggie's death gets a bigger push, while pac often gets dirt kicked on his tombstone. big is just not as popular or intriguing as pac.
It's a public forum, so conversation are...well...public. I started the convo - you and Fredrick added to it, talked about Heavy D. And so I continued on that dialogue. How is that wrong?
Finally, and then I'll drop it. I wasn't being sly. I directly insulted your inability to assess what people in urban neighborhoods and internationally think of Nas and Jay's music. RIGHT NOW!
Then I went further to state that you must be blind and deaf. That aint sly at all.
