you missed my point. I was trying to say that age isn't always a factor. Cuase the whole world talked about for over a month continuously after he died and he was up in age and hadn't put out a platinum album. I agree his career is better than both combined but within the hip hop world, these guys are the MJs of Rap so I still think it will hit the hip hop world hard.

It will hit main stream media for Jay-Z cause he got a lot of pink friends. Nas isnt as mainstream but it will still register...when Heavy D dies I think they talked about it on MSNBC.

Even though i hate to predict what would happen if someone died, (Hell Nas ain't but nine years older than me) i think it would go something like this. Jay-Z would get the feature on CNN, maybe even a one hour type special like when Mike and Whitney died. And u know his music would be all over the radio that week. With Nas i think he gets the little footnote on the bottom of the screen and maybe a 30 second mention or something. But the true hip hop heads would mourn Nasir just like they did Pac when he died. I would hope these young cats tell it like it should be that NAs was the greatest lyricist to ever touch a microphone.
