I'm saying though. Dude is about to fight the most feared man in boxing in a matter of hours. Somebody who's far more accomplished and dangerous than all those "killers" at 154....But canelo is shook :mjlol:......this is why boxers become all about the money. No matter if you take on the biggest challenge, the fans will just say you're shook of somebody else. There's really no pleasing some of these dudes. And what makes it funnier is that all these "killers" at 154 haven't fought anybody them damn selves. Charlo who just moved to 160 has the best resume and his best win came vs an over the hill trout...and the shyt couldve went either way. Canelo fought prime trout when he was 22. Fought Lara. Was gonna fight pwill before the accident. None of those "killers" at 154 have taken on more challenges than canelo. NONE of them. And tonight's fight will just add to the list. Let those "killers" take the same risks that canelo did at their age before we hype em up. We already had dudes in here hyping up j rock as the future and dude got completely slumped in his first real challenge:mjlol:

All truth:obama:

Nah little g definitely has skill. Nobody's denying that. I just feel it's been overstated due to his competition. When he started facing more skilled guys he hasn't really impressed much. He was down not he cards vs brook and he lost to Jacobs imo. But still, I consider little g to be a technical pressure fighter. A very good fighter but he's got major flaws that I think canelo is gonna exploit. And I think canelo's speed is gonna have him very frustrated. He's never had to deal with this kind of speed and counter punching.

Did they OVERWHELM him with their skill though?

A welterweight should be more skilled than a middleweight. In fact, it could be argued that Brook was technically the most skilled WW out there. Plus he has WW speed, therefore of course there will be issues in the early round. Khan displayed more skill/speed than Canelo in their fight right? In the end, both Khan/Brook still lost.

Here's the thing, I don't put much into the Kell Brook fight. The thing about that fight is he had him hurt in the first round, and then he backed off. He pretty much carried him. He pretty much made it a "street fight," as he said it was going to be prior to the fight.

GGG/Jacobs was pretty much debatable. I was actually the first person on this forum to pick Jacobs to win, and talked about all the preparation he was going to do heading into that fight. In a head to head fight, I think Jacobs beats Canelo, but that isn't really relevant to the conversation, as that is an entirely different fight altogether.

Do you think Canelo is more skilled than Brooks and Jacobs?

I've gone back and forth on it but I'm going on the record and saying I think Little G wins this one.

Isn't Triple G Top 3 P4P? If he is 50/50 with him, how would that make him overrated? C'mon man.

I didn't say it was 50/50. It's more like 65/35 to me. I honestly feel like both overrated. Style make fights in boxing. To me Canelo has a better chance of beating GGG than beating Jacobs or Charlo.

Some people are picking Canelo to stop a man who hasn't even visually been hurt by a punch before. That's preposterous to me. If it do happen I will take my L. Regardless I'm just happy we got a great matchup.

Most definitely. Easily better than brook. And better than Danny. Better defense than both. Faster than both. Better counter punching than both. Sharper and more accurate puncher than both. Also higher ring IQ than both. And Im in the belief than canelo is stronger than Danny. And I think he will prove that tonight.

Canelo is easily more offensively skilled than both of them.

Canelo outboxed Cotto...why people keep forgetting that, idk:manny:

Nobody would say Kell Brook or Danny Jacobs is better skilled than Cotto, so that shows where Canelo's Boxing skill level is at:whew:

Right and that's because those skilled guys were doing things in the ring little G never seen before and had the ability to take advantage of his flaws...

That's what happens when you spend your career crushing human tomato cans, your growth as a fighter is stunted...

It's like a batter in baseball, if you're used to only seeing pitchers who throw fastballs and all of a sudden they put a pitcher in who throws curveballs, changeups and sliders you won't know how to hit that shyt...going to look like a got damn fool swinging at them...

I been saying it for months, little G will not have an answer for that pull counter...Canelo got that shyt down to a science...

All little g stans going to be scoring tonight is jabs like they did when he fought Danny...Canelo going to be snapping this clowns head back all night...

No doubt about Canelo's skills............ he's pretty damn accurate and one of the best combo punchers out there. But that stamina and rope lay worries me and GGG would stacked up points there with his consistency.
