Comparison from a guy who sparred both canelo and little g. Said canelo has more one punch knockout power, but little g has more consistent power. Kind of said what I've been saying for a while. Little g doesn't have one punch knockout power, but he breaks his opponents down with accumulation and consistent power punching. But I think when it comes to their single best power shot, canelo can do more damage to an opponent. If little g gets the KO, it'll be from accumulation. While i think canelo has the ability to hurt little g with accumulation or a single big shot. Little g will know early that he's not gonna be able to walk through canelo's shots.
Coworker and myself were talking about how this fight seems to lack any sort of promotion. My job keeps me busy, therefore promo is important, despite the fact that I follow the sport.
As for this fight, I see it going the whole 12. Both guys are going to be cautious of each other's power. In fact, I will go even further and say this fight will not be as entertaining as people expect it to. It's a great fight on paper, but I think it will translate much differently as it happens in real time. I think it will turn out to be a good fight, but it's going to tactical. Not the fight that Oscar is trying to sell it off as.

lol at u thinking canelo hits harder.. triple g doesnt try to kill people in sparring.
its common knowledge triple g hits harder, be it one punch power or however u want to label it.
Mosley sparred with triple g and siad triple g wasnt going hard and he could still feel the power, says he hits like a light heavy wieght.

I will say I give Oscar credit. This run made me realize that he's a way more entertaining speaker than I thought he was. It's hilarious how he keeps saying "it's about the best fighting the best, blah blah blah" but yet he's meticulously put Canelo in one sided fights numerous times. That whole run of Khan/Liam Neeson/Chavez Jr was just a joke. Got mad at Schaffer for making Canelo/Lara while I believe he was in rehab.
The good thing about Canelo being in the MW division is that I believe the better fighters happen to be the best option.
