who wouldn't want to see the Triple Gawd do work? im pretty sure i said Triple Gawd-Canelo was the best fight you can make in boxing.after Pac-Floyd was done with..that the middleweight division was where it was at...i like being right too :myman:

I was told that no one liked GGG like the media made it seem and his PPV numbers were terrible. Also told that JCC was a bigger star than GGG and would draw more.

There were many who didn't think it would even break Canelo-Cotto numbers.

I stood by my stance that GGG would provide a "stimulus" to Canelo and he couldn't get those PPV numbers anywhere else besides a Floyd rematch.

But but but, GGG should take peanuts and feel lucky at whatever Canelo offers him. If it gets 2 million PPV's GGG definitely getting more than The Coli told him to sign for. Let The Coli negotiate your contracts breh. :mjgrin:

I said all along this fight would do huge numbers and better than JCC. doesn't matter if little g only did 150k. people wanna see great matchups. everybody kept saying the hype and promotion was terrible. this fight sold off the backs of these two fighters. no promo was needed.

GGG vs. Canelo:
- With Ward retired ESPN has GGG as the new PFP #1.
- Scored the fight for GGG, but can understand a draw from the close rounds. Does have a problem with Trella's card being a draw and it gave Canelo the 7th round, which was a huge GGG round. Had that round been scored properly, he would have given the fight to GGG and it would have been a split decision win for GGG.
- Canelo's body language in the ring looked like that of a beaten fighter.
- Byrd has had some really bad scorecards. The fact she teaches up and coming judges is a joke.
- Canelo's rematch option stated that he could pick up a rematch as long as he wasn't the winner. So he can do so in a draw. He has three weeks to notify if he is picking up his rematch. That said, they are already talking about a rematch.
- Imagine's a rematch would be in the same arena as the first fight.
- Showtime says Mayweather vs. McGregor did over 4 million buys, but isn't sure yet if it broke the record. HBO is saying GGG-Canelo could top 2 million.
- Believes GGG showed Canelo too much respect.
- Worse draw: Canelo-GGG or Lewis-Holyfield 1? Lewis vs. Holyfield by far.
- Does not think GGG will fight BJS next.
- Believes the rematch will be May 5.
- Agrees that it looks like GGG is declining. He is 35 and has fought a lot, it happens.
- Both showed great chins.
- Believes Canelo should have had to shave his beard.
- Never got an exact number on Canelo-JCC. It was just over 1 million PPV buys. Maybe 1.1, 1.2 million.

news flash, hooks and counter haymakers are power punches, If you land two jabs and I land one hook to the body, I win, that every time on the score cards

GGG only fighter in history who can win just by jabbing but never setting up the bigger punches, he did nothing half of the fight but get countered by canelo

Charlo the only real threat at middleweight, jacobs is trash and has a class jaw
