How some of you here picture it like he would have been fukking Lara out there If I'd only read your comments here w/o seeing the fight I'd thought it wasn't a competitive, entertaining, high class boxing fight between the 2 possibly best 160ers but like Canelo would have run all night while Golovkin beat him up badly. :stopitslime:

He backed Golovkin up multiple times in the first rounds and he didn't back to the ropes until he didn't get tired. He moved more against a puncher like Golovkin? :ohhh: Shoot him right there I'd say.

Criticize him if you want like for thing like his bad stamina but not for things he didn't commit. Maybe next time he could stay more in the pocket to not get tire out so fast but it wasn't like he would be dancing this time either... let Abelt Sanchez and the likes have these running/dancing etc... talks for themselves please.:francis:

Close fight with Golovkin and all of sudden Canelo is some kind of a failure to some of you. :gucci:

Address my post directly Res....did I say he was moving like Lara? No? Aight then.:camby:

If you seen my posts, youd know I said the fight was a 7-5 win for GGG or Draw...did I say it wasnt a competitive fight? No? Aight then.:camby:

Did I ever say he was running? No? Aight then.:camby:

Yall need to read posts and answer the direct words in the posts, not respond to me with your insecurities after Canelo lost bc he didnt sit in the pocket and fought a totally different fight than any of us ever seen him fight before, adding in words that aint never been said by me...and then wanting me to answer for YOUR words, not mine:forreal:

True shyt.
I thought Herrera won a 7-5 type of fight that could have gone either way. Herrera was jabbing like a mad man and racking up points, but Swift outfought him at times which made the fight closer/competitive.

With that said, at least Swift held his own nuts and fought back more consistently. He didn't run all over the place trying to get away from dude. Swift wasn't controlled by the jab to the extent Canelo was.

Swift ain't get booed off the island either.

nikka got BOOED by his own Mexican fans and then you got all these Ring nikkas :cape: every few seconds like they not in the minority in the damn fight they watched:dead:

nikkas must not have 1080p:francis:

Canelo definitely lost the event.

When Mexicans boo you and think you lost because you fought bytchmade, whether you think you won or not, that's an L in itself. Then to add fuel to the fire, the opponent tells you he fought more like your own people wanted you to fight than you did. Well got damn :mjlol:
Any time the opponent is speaking the crowd is cheering and anytime you say something the crowd boos. I mean that shyt was wild embarrassing. :picard:

Has an A side elite fighter ever take such an L like that without officially taking an L. :hhh:

I never said you literally said he's like Lara I said you making it out like that with calling dancing what he did, it was a simile. Correct me then if I was mistaken but saying "Gregory Hines with the dance moves" isn't calling him a runner in different words? Cause I thought so. I thought dancer basically = runner when it applied to a boxer here.

I doN't :cape: for Canelo, I'm not a blindfolded stan, I'm all for correct criticism, I criticize Canelo too for his mistakes I just feel the Canelo criticism here went a little over the top in the last couple of days simply because he had a close fight with Golovkin, it strayed away from the more reasonable criticism like his stamina to things which were not present imo like him dancing.
I criticize him for his 2 biggest limitations, the lack of stamina and the lack of ability to cut off the ring.

I didn't see Canelo fighting drastically different than he usually does, he moved a little more but I wouldn't say that by that much, definitely didn't dance/run around.

Why would a dancer = a runner?

Loma = Dancer

Lara = Runner

They dont fight the same when it comes to moving. Matter of fact, Ali referred to himself as a dancer as well.

Was Ali referring to himself as a runner to you?

Canelo was dancing all night, except when he got tired. If I thought he was running, like Thurman vs Collazo after the body shot, I wouldve been said it.

Fair post expect nikkas to flame you for this though. You gotta remember the media and these nikkas been calling Canelo all kinds of shyt up to here and claiming he was going to get stopped. It didn't happen so they gotta change the narrative, running etc.

Ain't no running in boxing its a fukking ring literally everything that is done in the ring can be countered thats why they call this shyt chess w fist. GGG didn't know the move to counter Canelo's movement that's on him. Not on Canelo.

It is a fair post indeed Res but in my case I've never thought much of Canelo :manny:..hes a tough kid for sure and he got my respect from taking shots from GGG...it was the same way i felt when swift remained on his feet taking shots from lucas that would KO a lesser chinned fighter and He won or Bradley throwing his equilibrium in the bushes against Ruslan in a winning effort ..tough but still something skillwise (or condition wise) that didn't impress me :manny:

Best highlight video I've found so far. After watching the fight over again a few times I give GGG rounds 4,5,6,7,8,9 and Canelo rounds 1,2,3,11 clearly. 10 and 12 were a wash with both of them landing good combinations. I gave GGG the fight 115-113 but can understand the draw if you gave Canelo all of the swing rounds. Can't really see Canelo winning though (convince me otherwise :yeshrug:) and as said multiple times 118-110 isn't even worthy of discussion.

Good analysis:

I don't feel like dude ever wanted to turn on canelo. but arguments about andrade and broner escalated, then he felt the need to go at canelo's head.:yeshrug:.....then he tried to come back and it was all good for a minute. but once the andrade criticisms started up again, he made the full turn:francis: .....now he gotta watch one of his favorite fighters and hope for em to lose just cause he already said too much:wow:.......it's a sad state of affairs. dude used to look forward to cince de canelo, now he prayin for his downfall:why:
