Canelo started off the fight well, moved well and slipped a lot of those phantom jabs HBO likes to count, he worked the body landing the cleaner more effective punches in all three of those rounds...He took his foot off the gas the middle rounds though, every time he pinned himself on the ropes he got tagged and I can't blame anybody for awarding rounds 4-9 to little G...Rounds 10,11 and 12 though were all Canelo rounds and that's what got him the draw on that one judges card...

I give props to G on this one, that mothafukkas bone density is terminator T-800...

Some of those punches Canelo tagged him with were and this dude just walked right through them...

Canelo don't need a new trainer. His skill set is obviously superb. He just needs a new conditioning coach. Theres no excuse now. It should be done first thing tomorrow morning. Now that he's at 160, being able to overwhelm dudes with his size like he did at his lower weight classes won't work. He's gonna have to be much slicker. He needs to be able to combine offense and defense while he's on the ropes. He does good things already, but I think it's clear he fights more like a black fighter than a traditional Mexican style.

He put him on the ropes and popped Canelo several times. At certain intervals..Canelo responded very well though.
