Canelo don't need a new trainer. His skill set is obviously superb. He just needs a new conditioning coach. Theres no excuse now. It should be done first thing tomorrow morning. He needs to hire the best. All the boxing skill in the world don't mean shyt if you can't stay sharp for a full round.

My recommendation of a black trainer has to do with his career at 160 going forward, to fully maximize his abilities.

A conditioner would help as well.

Let's be real, he's finally fighting at his real weight class. He's fighting at the top level where knockouts don't often happen. These guys will be able to take his power.

You want to fight like a black fighter, get a black trainer.

Honestly it was draw. Little g landed more but canelo landed the better shots. By far. Either way the fight proved canelo is the better boxer. But dudes stamina is just terrible. Atrocious. If dude doesn't get a real conditioning coach after this he's a retard. When he's fresh dude is unbelievable. He was making little g look basic as hell. But once the fatigue kicked in, he pretty much just let little g wail off on him. He was just giving little g rounds. Smh. But I don't wanna hear little g talking about canelo was running. When canelo was going on those 50 punch combo sprees for a full minute little g was a sitting duck. He always waited for canelo to gas out before He opened up. He basically did most of his work when canelo punched himself out and leaned on the ropes.

All that being said, I still gained respect for both guys. Little g is tough as fukk and proved me wrong on how much he can take. And canelo....even though he was exhausted out his mind, he still put his all out there. Took little g's best shots right on the chin and went right back. Both of these guys took eachothers best shots and proved they're not gonna go down unless you kill em.

Stamina is a big part of boxing bruh

It's what makes Floyd an all time great. Floyd is just as fresh in the 12th as the 1st.

Don't take away from ggg, and say it's canelo gassing. That fails to take into consideration ggg gameplay, which gasses fighters.

If u ever sparred urself you would know. It's utterly exhausting to get stalked and be defensive with the footwork. The reason canelo was tired and gassing is cuz he was getting stalked into the corners for 12 rounds.

Let's be honest though. At times canelo was making little g look completely foolish. And you can't say the same vice versa.
There wasn't a moment where he made him look foolish. But it seemed that Canelo thought he could make him gas by giving up rounds staying on the ropes. That didn't work. So GGG did make him look foolish in that aspect.

Canelo's desperation in the last round tells you all you need to know.
I don't know why, I never felt Canelo was doing it because he thought he was behind. I felt like he was reacting to his corner and trying to fight more like the hype of the fight of a "real Mexican style". Problem was he would do it for the first 45 seconds, gas himself out and GGG would control the remaining portion of the round. I don't have a problem with people giving Canelo the championship rounds...but they were close. Also showed one of GGG's biggest weakness that bugs me. When someone attacks him, he can avoid the shots better than people give him credit for, but at times he should swing back and attack himself, and he doesn't

Also, I have to say that this fight actually goes a long way to proving what I've always thought about the GGG-Brook and GGG-Jacobs fights to be true: GGG didn't look human necessarily because he was fading (although he is slipping, a consequence of being 35), but moreso because those two guys were very good boxers who fought great fights.

Seriously, if we discount the Mayweather fight, Kell Brook and Daniel Jacobs would be the toughest fights on Canelo's resume, and I'm not sure he wins them either (in fact, I guarantee that Canelo wouldn't have beaten the Daniel Jacobs who fought GGG in March). And look at the results of those fights: GGG fought an absolutely terrible fight against Brook, and yet he essentially ruined his career by breaking his orbital bone and would have probably retired him outright had the fight gone on much longer. Concerning Jacobs, he beat a guy boxing the match of his life with merely a good, B level effort.

People need to stop slandering the best middleweight in the world already.

Mind you 90% of the time Nelo was on the ropes was because he put himself there...

He likes to fight off the ropes but failed badly at it tonight...

I give little G credit for maintaining distance in those situations and not overly committing...

No doubt man..Trust me i'm not calling GGG trash at all plus i can see where people called it a draw. Just a little annoyed by some of the post fight analysis. boxing is round by round
