I guess you want to be under homos. It is what it is.yeah cause religious folks just live and let live
I read an interesting viewpoint somewhere else. Why not make all govt recognized "marriages" civil unions. Grant everyone the same rights under the eyes of the law, and leave "marriage" for the religious bodies?
The boundaries are the problem.
So if there was a bill to allow churchs to be exposed to discrimination lawsuits if they dont marry homos, would you be for or against it? Or would u just not care and not vote.
Well, here's how I'd break it down. If you're accepting government funds and tax breaks, then you have to obey the secular law, same as all nonprofits who accept those benefits, and you can't discriminate. If you're a fully private organization and not milking those federal advantages, then by all means restrict marriages to whoever you want. I think that's fair, regardless of the content of the religious organization.
That they are protected from laws that apply to all other non-profit organizations is silly TBH. The Lord doesn't discriminate, why should His churches?
Govt boundaries have to be the same for everybody.Boundaries are necessary which is why its disrespectful for someone to come into your home and stare at your wifes t*ts while you all have conversation.
damn, this thread got me like
mind fukk.

Keep telling yourself thatNo they dont and they never will be.
Are donations typically taxed for orgs that arent churches?
I don't think so, no, though obviously the person who is donating can still get tax breaks from it. So, that being the case, do you think it's a fair idea? I don't think it puts undue burdens on either side.
