The Wrong Side of the Tracks
The revolutionary war just stopped Europe from running America’s pockets, but America is a European country culturally indeed
Influenced, sure, but it's a conglomerate which makes it similar, but, ultimately, unique.
, it’s just the worst parts of their culture for the most part…
That would be Black people due to being forced to live and mingle with low-class Europeans for several centuries. 'Whites' abandoned it, we kept it alive.
And colonialism benefitted not nah nikka in the states… and fukk that article
You live in America, therefore, YOU benefit from colonialism.

Are you suggesting China wants to slap box with America? I think even China would get to stuttering if asked this question.

If America falls, the world is in trouble!

What other powerhouse has the compassion and will to even attempt to assist other nations? And I'm not looking for these other nations that jump on board after America is committed.

People saying China. China??? China is horrible to its own citizens and they're who you want?

If America falls there will be a return to a time of savagery that the world hasn't seen in at least several centuries.

How will yall react to Chinese soldiers coming in to quell disturbances? Not to mention that wouldn't happen unless it's absolutely necessary. And by that time the 60% of cacs in this country will probably have killed and eaten us 12% nikkas!

America fall...Black people better head for the boats!

I dont think we'll see the same type of dominance as the US currently holds. US is basically an anomaly when you look at it. From its geographical position (protected by two oceans, insane diversity of nature/climate in the huge mainland, with all kinds of natural ressource at home), history (born out of genocide and slavery, meaning free land and free labor to build the economy on), the fact that it was born out of OTHER empires (UK, France, Spain), that it has cultural ties with the center of the Old World (Europe), extremely diverse population. In a strange way the US is still a fairly young country while being very old when you go back at where its main population comes from and the traditions that birthed it. It's basically the end result, the magnum opus of colonization. And it literally has interests and its hand in in damn near everything everywhere. All that to say that if/when the US collapse, which isn't a sure thing, most probably you'll go through a periode of high instability in the world (not seen in modern times imo) and then we'll revert to the norm, which is a world with various old historical regional superpowers (Russia, China, India, France, Germany...) plus a couple of new ones maybe, but no global "hyperpower" like the US. I don't think another country could enjoy that sort of dominance, especially culturally.

Empires rise and fall all the time. No one thought Rome would fall and that lasted 1000yrs.

America won’t fall the traditional way with force, it’s going to eat itself from the inside until it’s so divide that it just crumbles.

I disagree as plantation cotton production accounted for ~5% of America's economy. Had it been abolished sooner, textiles, @~13% of the economy, would have been the leading export. Holding onto slavery impeded economic development and engendered a war between North and South. Would that war have happened if it were abolished sooner? I'm not sure, but I do know that EVERY country that continued using slave labor fell behind those that didn't.

The father of american textile was an englishman who smuggled loom designs into america from memory. I'm not against abolishment sooner - the issue is american textile was stolen british IP so it's a little rich to assume anything would have been sooner without england. Samuel Slater had Andrew Jackson glazing him for his treachery against the crown.
