Language wasn't something I'd considered, but that's a valid idea. Considering how China treats it's own citizens, how likely would the rest of the world follow China's model of civilization like America's?
shyt, I'd say there's a lot of countries out there who treat their citizens and foreigners worse than China, while having nothing innovative to show the world.

Ya kill me how ya think if America collapses the rest of the world is just going to go on with their day like business as usual. America collapses the rest of the world is going to feel it big time including China.
I'd argue that first world nations dont exist anymore. There are 2nd world nations with better wealth distribution and military than third world nations.

Hmm, another good point I hadn't considered.
America is really the last (and really only) stop that has everything to be honest.

Geography/weather/country size, multi-culture friendly/cultural assimilation, effective, defense, etc.

China's culture assimilation is an enormous hurdle, because to them you'll need to onboard into their entire system: language, philosophy, etc. They don't seem to take that lightly while with America you can keep your own culture, find your pocket of people and thrive which is what makes it so appealing to foreigners. English being a much easier and less demanding language as well makes assimilation much easier. Like mentioned a big portion of the population are physically incapable of learning a tonal language like Chinese so that's already a filter.

What about Brazil? The size of the country is big like the US. I just looked it up and their economy is the 8th biggest in the world. And Portuguese seems like it would be a simple language to learn because it shares things in common with other Romance languages like Spanish and French. They have a decent amount of multiculturalism too

That's actually a scary thought if you think about it long enough.......which is why I made this thread. Been on my mind a few years, now. We spend so much time, energy, and resources helping others, but who's gonna return the favor if we need help?

Yeah Brazil is another good option.

Average temperature/weather though is rough though:

They wouldn't be able to protect their country from invaders the same, at least not until the new wave of "immigrants" from America (and the rest of the world immigrating there) can build up their military (which will take time).

Yeah that's facts. It's not a perfect country, but a lot of folks take many things for granted here.

The fact people can even criticize the country without getting a visit for one.

The way some of these people talk about politics and government, there's zero chance they'd survive in a Russia for example :mjlol: :heh:
