Supporting Hamas is like supporting Israel. I can go for days on Israeli leaders quotes...want to take 3 L's in the same forum?

:umad: So I post a video of a Hamas spokesman SPEAKING FOR HAMAS and he says that using Palestinians as human shields has been a good and effective strategy for Hamas. So yes, part of the blame for Israel killing innocent people IS on Hamas. Thats the one and only point of that video.

That sounds like wishful thinking at this point, especially considering the new information we have been exposed to in the last few weeks.

They probably fear the US and EU populations revolting to pull support for Israel much more.

that's the biggest thing they fear. they could handle the all the arabs combined plus they supposedly have nuclear weapons but an angry american, british, and european populace is another thing especially with a growing number of young americans already feeling some type of way with all the shyt jews run here already.

I think the other solution is imperialism -- if you can actually integrate the whole place into your country and make them full citizens -- but even that has no guarantee (e.g. Scotland)

isreal could easily integrate the Palestinians but most of them want it to remain a jewish state (with majority jews) and doing so would make the palestinians the majority.

Outside the US, public opinion on the conflict between the two is starting to shift :yeshrug:
:manny: the only shift i see is basically everybody agreeing Hamas needs to be destroyed. As it looks right now it appears to be what is happening. I don't think Israel is going to lift the blockade and i'm sure Hamas will be irrelevant if not gone by the time this is done. The blockade won't be lifted for years IMO, even if it's not an official "blockade" it will still be one, because there will be intense searches and seizures, wait times etc.. It will be years before they allow people to go freely through those borders unfortunately. All it will take is one suicide bomber to sneak through and blow himself up in a bus, or a car bomb or something and Israel will be right back in there at the drop of a hat, destroying everything in sight.

The US is really the only country riding with Israel -
A 2013 Pew poll found vastly more unfavorable feelings toward Israel outside than within the United States, which registered a 27 percent unfavorable view of Israel and a 57 percent favorable view. In contrast, 44 percent of people in Britain had an unfavorable view of Israel. Unfavorable views of Israel were held by 62 percent in Germany, 65 percent in France, 66 percent in China and in the 80 percent to 90 percent range in Arab and Muslim countries

Can't wait to see what those updated numbers look like now that there are over 1,000 dead Palestinians. As for destroying Hamas, well the Pentagon doesn't think that would be a good idea
