They're pretty content with playing the game every couple years and testing out some of their new technology every now and then. They need an enemy with the Palestinians and Hamas has been a good cop out for many occasions for them. They can keep playing their narrative of victimhood, the rockets (Even though I think 2013 had the lowest amount of rockets fired at in Israel in the last decade plus suicide bombing has disappeared for years).

The bombings have stopped im pretty sure because that built that big ruthless wall and blockaded the borders. They didn't stop suicide bombings out of good faith. I think people forget about those. There was many suicide bombings in the early 2000's. Enough to basically cause hatred for a few generations. Both sides are wrong but clearly Hamas is the one whos' really in the wrong as far as prolonging negativity. People want to see Israel get smacked around and it's not going to happen, this is obviously a goal of Hamas, they feel that one day they will get a huge victory, maybe god will make their rockets hit targets, maybe they think arab countries will eventually just go kamikaze and rush israel in a final attempt to destroy them, maybe they feel the international community will just force israel to disband. All of those are a fantasy and anybody thinking that way is not helping the peace process because none of those things will ever happen.

Both sides have to compromise. Israel has to realize eventually it could possibly be a full Arab state :manny: and that a state only for jewish people in 2014 makes no sense and won't work. Palestinians have to understand they will have no armed wing, no army, probably just police. They don't need an army or a militant aspect of their society. Any seriuos troubles israel will handle, they really need to just make civilians life liveable. There will never be a war on this earth until the end of time that a person calling them self a Palestinian will win. So they should give up the dreams of a militant fight for their independence being the thing that will do it. It's almost like they want that fight, almost as if palestinians feel if they got independence through peace, and not a fight, then it won't mean anything, like they will look weak if they achieve their independence through negotiation.

On his July 27 show, CBS Face the Nation host Bob Schieffer went on a rant about Palestinians:

"In the Middle East, the Palestinian people find themselves in the grip of a terrorist group that has embarked on a strategy to get its own children killed in order to build sympathy for its cause, a strategy that might actually be working, at least in some quarters.

Last week, I found a quote of many years ago by Golda Meir, one of Israel's early leaders, which might have been said yesterday. "We can forgive the Arabs for killing our children," she said, "but we can never forgive them for forcing us to kill their children."

Yeah they replayed it on Democracy Now, shyt was :leon: to listen to.

Meanwhile, remember this:

Helen Thomas has been covering the White House for more than five decades but her retirement is effective immediately. Her career was ended by her own words.

The Hearst columnist made the comments in late May, but garnered attention after the Drudge Report picked them up last Friday. In an interview with RabbiLive.com, the legendary journalist took her normal criticism of Israel to an extreme. "Remember these people are occupied and it's their land," Thomas said. "It's not German and it's not Polish."

When she was asked where Jews should go, she answered "home." When pressed about where that might be, Thomas answered: "Poland. Germany. And America and everywhere else."

You're describing a bi national state which is the only solution
