Im on their side in this conflict though because they will always be there and the only option for peace is a non hostile palestinian people who are willing to work with the israelis. I think the entire Hamas leadership should be exiled to the desert to die with no food. They are probably in the top 10 most useless world leaders in the history of planet earth. They have done nothing for palestinians but on teh contrary have basically set a giant booby trap around the palestinians. Brainwashed them so all they know is Hamas's propaganda, lets not forget about the global brainwashing, tons of palestinians believe in conspiracy theory, about all things not just the situation with israel, but they think ISIS is some jewish conspiracy, some american conspiracy. Until they hear about ISIS beheading somebody they hate, then they are real and muslims, but as soon as the story comes out that some jihadi group slaughtered other muslims, then they turn back into a jew conspiracy.
The damage Hamas did to the peopel might not even be reversible. They coudl have literally just created a class of people, which has happened a lot in that area through history, where a class of people are created just to fight and they fight for hundreds of years, every one of their offspring with maintain the fight for generations. That seems to be what Hamas has done to the people in Gaza.

From reading the international and national news you would probably never have known that last Thursday and Friday alone, over 700 people were killed in Syria at the hands of jihadists and pro-Assad forces. Muslim on Muslim, Arab on Arab, human on human, whatever you like to think of it as – Western media is doing an awful job of reporting these abhorrent incidences – and I think I know why

My colleague Jonathan Spyer from the Global Research in International Affairs (GLORIA) Center, and fellow at the Middle East Forum (full disclosure: a position I also hold) noted it best today when he wrote:

“More than 700 people killed in Syria on Thursday and Friday, in the bloodiest two days of the conflict until now. A woman was executed for adultery in Raqqa. None of the above were killed by Jews, however. This presumably explains the total lack of interest by the western media, (and of course by the Islamist/far-left crowd who have been attacking synagogues and so on in Europe in recent days.)”

Yes the preoccupation with how many Muslims are killed by Jews, rather than how many are suffering at the hands of their fellow countrymen/co-religionists is a stark reminder of how natural it is for most people to still focus their attentions on Israel and the Jewish people respectively. Indeed it is this “everyday anti-Semitism” that leads the Guardian to depict the MH17 disaster in the same cartoon as that criticising Israel’s operation in Gaza as if there were some link, and indeed which forces thousands of ‘pro-Palestinian’ activists onto the streets of London [link] to demonstrate against Israel – but not so much against ISIS or Bashar al-Assad.

I was listening right before I left the house he put conditions on that ceasefire. Funny enough he brought up a great point, he'd accept disarmament if it means Israel is disarmed as well. I'm sayin, for terrorists these are some pretty reasonable people.

Decent point but Hamas has no real enemies outside of Israel. Israel has war torn Syria in the north, Hezbollah in Lebanon, ISIS in Iran/Iraq. Disarmament for Israel is much more costly than for Hamas.
