That's an easy way to misinterpret Jewish support for Israel. No one is talking about some abstract bullshyt. Israel has a very pragmatic function as a state. It allows the Jewish people to streamline resources and develop political infrastructure. Any ethnic group without a political state will always be in danger.
Antisemitism would have diminished following WW2 regardless... but people are always looking to get back to their ways
Anyways, I think most Jews around the world believe Israel has a right to defend themselves. But how that right is applied, on a day to day basis, is a complicated matter.
