No Vaseline is great, but it did not affect members of NWA personally like how Ether and Not Like Us did. Eazy E still went on to discover BTNH and was still worth over 50 million dollars before he died. He even dropped Real Muthafukkin’ G’s towards Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg and that diss still affects Dr Dre personally to this very day.
The only person that was hurt (well butthurt is the proper word for it) personally by No Vaseline was Jerry Heller.

A lot of the older music sounds dated and don’t really listen to as much unless it’s on shuffle. But Pac dissed a bunch of people on Against All Odds which is better than No Vaseline. Cube’s music doesn’t do it for me as much than Pac.

Not Like Us is the goat diss track because of its impact and reach, in my opinion. There’s nothing more humiliating than the entire world chanting “pedo carols” about you. The song is everywhere… inescapable. It’s not just a hit in hip hop circles; it’s a global cultural moment. There’s no running from it.
