I love the passion though. Or maybe it's disgust.
? This dude even tried to chase Judge out of town two off-seasons in a row. Refused to meet with him until the eve of the season in 2022 when he was told he won’t talk about his contract during the year. Then he lowballs him and leaks the offer to the press to make Judge look bad. Then after a near triple crown season with 62 homers (the first 60 homer season in 20 years) and nearly picking up the triple crown, he again tries to lowball him to the point that Judge goes over his head and talks straight to Hal because while Hal might be apathetic, he’s not stupid enough to let the face of the sport walk in his prime. It takes next levels of awful to be worse than Hal is.
The teammate that said that is a bum.
Then again, I wouldn't be surprised if a 2nd rate trash ass writer like Jon Heyman made up that quote himself.

Good for him. Dude clearly wasn't focused with us. He'll eventually regress to his avg but he's playing on pride and emotion right now.
