The signs were there since June that Rizzo wasn't right. Yet these clowns waited till August, and they're probably only doing this to save face so they can add another excuse to the list

Rizzo should seriously consider suing the organization
:whoa:

Yankees will be fighting the A's and Pirates for stinginess after Rizzo gets Ohtani money from the Yankees

:ohhh:

WE ALL KNEW THIS! WE AIN’T DOCTORS EITHER!

What fukking incompetence. :snoop:
Took over two months to diagnose. :snoop: And never took any real time off until the All-Star break.

Had him out there since 5/28 seeing stars, couldn't make it up if you tried.

This organization is in disarray. It just keeps getting worse. This is not a well oiled machine.
Far from the first time this team has hidden a serious injury like this or a guy has played a long stretch hurt only for us to find out months later. A-Rod in 2012, Judge in 2019, DJ & Cole in 2021, Stanton, Montas, and DJ in 2022, Treviño & Rizzo this year. That’s all off the top of my head. We’ve all been predicting this shyt for about 5 weeks now too. These guys can’t be trusted. They all have to go.

Either hiding Pavano's constant injuries or letting him just see a private doctor.

Also how vague they’ve been at times with Severino’s injuries and the unnecessarily long DL stint last year that he was publicly mad about. This stuff happens way too much to just be incompetence.

It’s because injuries are a golden parachute to explain why they didn’t win. Can’t blame players for getting hurt right? Well if we just create this world where the Yankees have a championship roster but those damn injuries get in the way, buys them time and false hope that all they need is… luck, the same luck that the analytics department can rest on when every negative stat is just an outlier.

I refuse to believe anything this team has to say about injuries. And it's been that way for a while. Them taking almost a month to figure out Mark Texeira's leg was broken back in 2015 was the first time I looked at them wondering what the fukk they're doing.

The way they handled Jacoby Ellsbury too. We’re supposed to believe he was hurt the final 3 and a half years of his contract? Clearly rushing Matt Carpenter back from a broken foot last year comes to mind too. A guy in his late 30’s coming back in 7-8 weeks? Every injury they report is initially listed as a 1-3 week recovery and turns into anywhere from a 6-11 week absence.
