"I've been really wanting babies, so I can see a part of me that wasn't always shady":mjcry:

Don't trust my lady, cause she's a product of this poison
I'm hearin noises, think she fukkin all my boys, can't take no more
I'm fallin to the floor; beggin for the Lord to let me into Heaven's door -- shed so many tears

"Now I'm lost and I'm weary, so many tears
I'm suicidal, so don't stand near me
My every move is a calculated step, to bring me closer
to embrace an early death, now there's nothin left
There was no mercy on the streets, I couldn't rest
I'm barely standin, bout to go to pieces, screamin peace
And though my soul was deleted, I couldn't see it
I had my mind full of demons tryin to break free
They planted seeds and they hatched, sparkin the flame
inside my brain like a match, such a dirty game
No memories, just a misery
Paintin a picture of my enemies killin me, in my sleep
Will I survive til the mo'nin, to see the sun
Please Lord forgive me for my sins, cause here I come"

I don't care how many Mensa Clubs Chino XL's apart of, he just couldn't hit you like that^^^^:pacspit:

It's just so transparent, sincere, and vulnerable.NAKED:to: nh

Great song. one of the reasons that album is my favorite from Pac. But Lord Knows is the best beat on that album IMO.

Pac blacked out on Lord knows, just spazzin...way he flowed on that shyt
fukk the 5-0 cause they after me
Kill me if they could, I'll never let 'em capture me
Done lost too many nikkas to this gangbangin'
Homies died in my arms, with his brains hangin', fukked up!
I had to tell him it was alright, and that's a lie
And he knew it when he shook and died, my God

For all the artsy fartsy "deep" lyricist out there who like to rag on Pac's simplicity....

This might be the most introspective song in hip hop history.

While niccaz try to "conceptualize" and make it complex/deep

Pac just did it...hashed it straight from the heart.

His soul was truly artistic/profound...A pure natural.

Dap + rep.

Only Scarface's close when it comes to being introspective and natural without trying too hard to be technical. And the content. :wow: those two just speak to you like they can see you.
