thats like saying if they changed their accents..its part of its identity.

Wasn't there one grime producer who only made beats on a gameboy? or have i made this up.

i feel like someone has said before that they made beats on a PS1.

1st joint was.....interesting.
2nd joint 98/99 Jay-Z would have floated all over that something lovely.

Alot of grime producers were heavily influenced by late 90's timbaland production so you're spot on with your jay-z point

Yeah, it looks like i dreamt this one up :russ:

I could have sworn years back i was listening to a Target or Sama show and they interviewed someone who said they just used a Gameboy.

Google search gave me no answers to what my imagination has conjured up :mjlol:

WTF are you talking about, folks don't even make "Grime" beats anymore.

Shiiit I wish I could actually hear real Grime beats.

Dubstep and Grime when the Garage influence was still strong:whew:

trap bangs harder...that's the real reason why some of those Skepta tracks started getting buzz in the USA
Aye - trap has that whip appeal. But the slightly faster BPM, the energy, the aggressiveness, more electronic sound fits well with grime.

Breh Timbo's sound is influenced.... damn near bitten from jungle, drum n bass but slowed way the eff down. Timbo's percussion and bass game is jungle and drum n bass. A lot of grime producers come from the jungle, ragga, drum n bass mc bloodline. Sure Timbo might've influenced some but that DNA isn't his.

I love Grime beats and find them to be original. They arent supposed to be polished, they're supposed to be grimey, bloody americans. :scust:
