The Republicans have mastered the art of making people vote against their own interests.
This thread makes me think of a girl I went to school with. She's black and I remember for a fact, that she got free lunch right along with me. Now she's working as a special needs teacher in the inner-city, yet she always on FB talking bout how she's voting for Romney
She claims it's because republicans stand for less welfare and lower taxes. I tried to explain to her that Romney would actually be removing programs that she and her family need. Hell her job is funded by the very programs she's voting against. I sent her a link showing how taxes have gone down under Obama. She said "my taxes went up" I said "did you make more money?" her "so what" me
I think she just likes the attention, she gets by saying stupid shyt
Romney's good with kids too breh:As blacks, how can we not vote for this guy... look how powerful this image is...
Cosign, but I don't even understand broke white males who think that voting Republican will help them. It's an incredibly intense delusion that makes them think that they're going to somehow be "in league" with the party brass by supporting them. It's the same reason that conservatives use language like, "A STRONG Republican [fill in the blank]. A STAUNCH conservative [fill in the blank]."
There was a story on TYT about a woman who was ranting on and on about how she was a Republican, taking herself to other tables in the PF Chang's, asking people why they wouldn't vote Republican. When they tried to throw her out, she said, "You can't throw me out, I'm a Republican!"
And doesn't that say it all? The broke white people see themselves on the same level as the rich and powerful white people, which is why they feel a kinship with them (even though the only color that matters is green).
Do most people are your college seem to be liberals or conservatives. What about the professors & staff, how do they tend put things into perspective.if you know nothing about money(thus why youre poor in the first place)
and know little about how government works
sensationalism can prey on weak minded individuals
its crazy the difference it is looking in hindsight to both parties effects on me in HS as opposed to now
That reminded me of this:
White people always feel like their comeup is right around the corner.
Theres this black chick in some of my classes, her family is from Africa. She's cute and everything but I can tell that she seems to be a bit self-conscious with her skin tone and seems the type that will act contrarian for attention.
I saw this bytch two days ago with a "Keep Calm and Vote Romney" shirt on...I couldn't even get my greeting out I was so damn flabbergasted....
