Fixing the economy is to everyone's benefit...and some people have made the decision that they trust Romney more than Obama in that regard. Its not nearly as sensationalistic as you're trying to make it seem.

In that case, why do you automatically vote democrat?

My question is, how does voting Republican guarantee a fixed economy? I mean, one could make an argument that it's sort of a self-fufilling prophecy where people think the economy will go bad under Dems, so they save more and that ends up hurting the economy ... but there's nothing intrinsic about the economy getting worse with a Democrat POTUS. We were fine with Clinton and we didn't go off the deep end with Obama. Although the recovery wasn't as fast as we'd all would have wanted, we are slowly returning to normalcy, right?

I'm a white male and I don't understand how White males under the age of 40 vote for romney. I have two friends in college (both white) who are Romney supporters. I'm just like

one of them even had to sit out this semester because he couldn't afford it. I was like breh do you understand that Romney would cut federal aid for students? He was just like "Lets not talk politics..."

Politics is becoming the new religion, like its an untouchable subject. People get offended too easily.

Not all Republicans are the same. It's just that all the moderate Republicans got taken out around 04 or so. They're still there waiting in the wings. One of my professors in undergrad lost his seat for being pro-stem cell research. Rahm Emanuel tried to get him to come in as a blue dog, but he said no.

Breh, I know this spanish lady who got laid off a year ago, is facing foreclosure, and is still voting republican. Of course, she's heavily religious.
