I see people with "BEATS BY DRE" and just shake my head internally.

I have a pair, and I wear em at the gym or when I travel through airports. I don't give a fukk what some anal dikk thinks about me wearing em either:ld:
Exactly! they sound good.... so what if the OP doesnt like, that dont mean they dont sound good, and fukk all that high end headphone shyt, im not a producer....
Really, it depends on what you want out of your headphones. A lot of people want them for a status symbol or maybe they enjoy the enhanced bass response. High end headphones are more 'accurate', but people don't necessarily want a lot of accuracy in their music, which means that you aren't getting that big, thumping bass... Also, the higher end your headphones are, the higher end your surrounding equipment needs to be, as well as the quality of the recordings you are listening to. Most of these pop songs that people listen to won't sound all that great on high end equipment because they are so revealing and most of those songs are engineered to sound the best out of some car system.

Word breh. What grown man sits around with headphones on all day anyway? I only use mine when I'm in the gym. We can argue price vs quality in tons of other products. I swear i never heard any of these new headphone nerds bytching about the next man's headphone choice before the good Doc dropped his shyt.

I use them to DJ and they're some of the most comfortable headphones I've ever had.......I can honestly say the $400 I've spent on the beats by dre pros have been worth it......A little expensive, but yeah I personally love them, the way they fold back...........I want another pair for the gym.....but yeah for $400 it's a bit much. I think that's where they lose honestly, I would have 3-4 pairs if they were in the $200, $250 range.

Really depends on what you're into. This being a hip hop website, im surprised I see this silly debate as beats were made for people who love bass and appreciate the beat but It also depends on your phone. When you have an android you can cop a eq app(poweramp if its still around is goat) Iphones output is the weakest of them all and to get that boost, Beats are the way to go. The eq apps are also trash on iphone so youre SOL.

Anyone that says their $30 headphones sound the same as the beats is a fukking liar plain and simple if they have an iphone however, my vmodas i bought a few years back combined with a good eq on my android = iphone w beats. in 2011 i spent about $750 in headphones to compare. Bose, Senheiser, Beats, and 2 other brands i don't feel like looking up. For what i mainly listen to (hiphop, bass driven/7 or 8 string guitar driven metal) Beats kept me most satisfied

As far as I've noticed, most people who bring up the beats = sheep argument just hate hype and go against something popular which I respect, but they clearly dont listen to the same music as me or appreciate the "highs" in sounds where i love the "lows"

We all have preferences but dont be a fagat about it

The Dre Beats hate has to be the weirdest phenomenon on this board. Whenever these headphones are brought estrogen levels rise to 9000 with some of you cats :heh:

I have about 3-4 headphones. I got beats, I got sienhiesers, I got akgs and sonys. Only got Dre because my boy hook me up. But to be honest, I use the siens and akgs for studio work. Sony and Dre to walk around with it.

One thing is for sure. I salute Dr Dre and team for convincing you to buy that shyt.

Its one thing to enjoy music...but the headphones really are complete and utter crap for the price and quality you get.

But...again.

I get it.

A lot of you all aren't able to invest any actual time into researching quality audio equipment so thats what you buy...

...just know...that you could be getting SO much more for what you're spending on that logo.

:dahell:

And your dweeb insecure ass worried about others rocking

LOL at you including BOSE in there then trying to front like you tried a comparable Sennheiser model.

IF you're spending $300 on a Senn, then running back to BEATS I've gotta question your entire motivation in life.
