Hell on earth is the better album

The infamous is more accessible than hell on earth. It has lighter elements; ie: the inclusion of qtips sound.

Theyre just better rappers on hell on earth as well as the vibe is more menacing and a perfect follow up. leading to murda muzick being more accessible again with its ‘poppier’ vibe.

All 3 albums are classics. Which is better is preference. To me theres very few songs in the history of the genre fukking with “still shinin” , “get dealth wit”, “god pt 3”

They still trying to remake this album. This and liquid swords are prolly the ‘darkest’ vibe in the genre without being corny.

Probably the only album I still consistently listen to damn near daily from the 90’s

Every fukking track is a classic song to me besides the last one with noyd

That shyt come on like a movie

It might be my favorite album of all time now that I think about it

In my top 3, and there are times when it's my personal favorite.

I saw a reddit thread asking what's better? The Infamous or Ready to Die and The Infamous was winning in a landslide as it should.

Flawless album, incredible 1995-style production, Prodigy not yet reaching his lyrical peak but understanding how talented he is, Q-Tip's guidance, great guest appearances, dark, murky samples.

Beat still bangs and imo that's a classic track...especially since I've listened to the other tracks so many times it's refreshing to hear the 'lesser played' joints.

While I love HoE, and it is indeed darker, it just feels more polished and a tad less grimey than The Infamous. HoE feels a little more polished, and I like the more organic vibe of the infamous. Nothing wrong w/ preferring HoE, b/c lyrically it's absolutely the superior album.

nothing sounds better than playing this album during the winter NYC months:ohlawd:

oh for sure...you can add IWW to that list as well
IWW and OB4CL were always summer albums to me for the most part. Prolly b/c they dropped in July & August. But I know exactly what you're saying, b/c Hoody & Timbs muzik & vibes>>>>

Liquid Swords, Hell on Earth about as dead-of-winter as it gets.

Obfcl = best long player in all of rap history

Raekwon discography. Which includes arguably the best mixtape run in history. Combined with mobb deep and prodigy' discography = soundtrack for winter

GOAT level album. Not my #1, but I have no problem with this opinion.

I just came in here to say that Illmatic is overrated as a hip hop album. It's a collection of dope rhymes and beats, but don't have the characteristics that make an album GOAT status or even timelessly captivating.

Do yall really revisit that album like that? It's great, but in a boring way imo.
