Neck ties and boxing gloves.
He's right but he and the Hittmen were just as responsible of shaping Biggie's sound as Biggie was.

Diddy said it himself, "Take hits from the 80s. Make it sound so crazy." Dude's a hack. Classics or not.

Even his tribute song to his Biggie was based on The Police's biggest hit and written by Sauce.

Dre did the same thing puffy did.. found a sample.. looped it... dre maybe chopped more but still.. if i remember correctly puffy started sampling like dre because the west coast was winning with that formula so much
Dre has way more work than that though

he's been around long enough to where we know he has talent.

Puff basically has that one lane.

Puffy never sampled shyt...as he don’t make beats. Dude shouldn’t even be in the conversation with Dre. In the case of people sampling shyt and not doing much to it or not chopping nothing up....who’s more skilled, the person that says sample this? Or the person that says sample this AND physically makes the beat? It don’t matter if Dre looped some shyt, did nothing and pressed export. Puffy ain’t even doing that. I can’t honor that. Everyone knows Dre has the reputation of a technician in the studio. What the fukk is Puffy doing? Smh, Dre probably insulted at all this talk of him and Puff

Exactly.

I’ve said it before, but put Puff & Dre in separate rooms with a turntable, drum machine, and keyboard, and only 1 of them is making a beat
