And who benefits from that? I dont see how either side does. Feel free to educate me.I mean he signed a contract, he can opt out in 4 months

And no one put a gun to Pats head and forced him to keep dude this summer when all of this was known and he still had more value. That value is only dropping. And if it drops too much, like you just said, they will be stuck with him another year.I'm just saying no one put a gun to his face when he signed that deal in 2021. Trade market is crap for a 36 year old injury prone player who wants an extension or can opt in for 52 mill next year.
I understand it from Riley. Sometime just letting a big salary walk is better than trading just to trade. I can't see any team giving up anything valuable for a 35 year old injury prone player who wants a huge contract extension.
I'm not high on anything Golden State could send back to make salaries match. Houston is interesting for sure. OKC has the picks but not the contracts to match so I think they'd have to get another team involved. But that is the type of win now move that I could see them making and Jimmy would be a great fit on both of those teams.
GOLDEN STATE/HOUSTON
OKC GOT A BUNCH OF PICKS
Hypothetical ass nikkaz. Go ahead and put Charles Barkley on the Bulls and they end up with 10 rings instead of 6. See how that works?Put healthy Jimmy in Boston its 2 chips instead of 1
Wasnt too long ago the coli was trying to hype Jimmy up as a top tier #1 option
The Mike and Ike shaped head dude has never been more than a top tier 2nd. Goat level complainer though
