I feel you, but I saw some guys in boot camp who I thought wasn’t going to make it but surprised when they made it out on top.
I saw the bold in Navy RTC but I also saw the contrapositive to the bold as well. nikkas enlist thinking the Military will magically fix whatever they see wrong with themselves. Some shyt you just gotta keep it a buck.
It depends. I was fast but could barely do 15 push ups before basic. Once I got into the rhythm of getting smoked to death, resurrected, then smoked again I started to like working out.
It does depends on that person own mindstate before you even get to the body.

You don’t need motivation, you need discipline. You can always lose motivation. You don’t need motivation to brush your teeth, you just do it because you do it.... no lie forming discipline can be rough tho but once you get it down pack, it’s no more questioning what needs to be done, you just simply do it.

Just get at it, don't spend too much time researching routines and supplements. Go to the gym, put your ear buds in, and do a full body workout three times a week. On the days that you don't lift, go for a thirty minute jog.

You should be able to motivate yourself if you're grown. That shyt comes from inside every time you get in front of a mirror and see that frail bird chest and your ribs cage touching each other that's should be your motivation to lift.

Looking for someone else to give you a push might work temporaily but you would need to eventually become self motivated enough to continue on your own.
Well I do got a belly but same shyt. Noodle limbs. You’re right

You’re right, I’ll use me as an example again. I enlisted in the military to fix some self esteem issues I was having, but it kinda enlarged those issues.
I regressed mentally, but I progressed physically :yeshrug:

Look at your 23,000+ post count.

Think about how many post and threads you've made talking down on yourself and talking about your problems, then take a look at yourself in the mirror.

Notice how much effort you've made on your physique. That should motivate you to change.

Most people seem to lack both true motivation to work out consistently and the discipline to stick to working out.

When the topic comes up at work, I always tell the people that bish like OP but never make any changes they probably won't until something fairly psychologically traumatizing happens to them.

One breh thought it was cap until he got some free clothes he couldn't fit into. Cue blue screen of death. Now he's low-key about that life and got his girl moving too.

As with most things, your mileage may vary. :yeshrug:

Find a person that you know personally that might be at where you want to be, and use that as motivation. I've always had like a silent competition with somebody that was where I wanted to get to. My cousin played pro basketball overseas, so I wanted to beat him when we hooped. One of my older Brothers got locked up and sent to boot camp, and he said they'd have arms wrestling competitions and he was unbeatable, so I wanted to beat him in at arm wrestling. I beat them both, and got better/stronger in the process.
Damn you a g
