I need a good reason why Iran shouldn't have nukes?

How far are the so-called hawks in this thread willing to go to make sure Iran doesn't acquire a nuclear weapon? I seriously doubt the US and Israel can just take out Irans nuclear capability with aerial strikes. Iran has been preparing for this. So we would have to topple the regime with boots on the ground.

I'm against it. For the most part due to Iran's vast terrorist network. The second reason, which should probably be the first is due to sheer irresponsibility on their part. When you threaten to "wipe Israel off the map" don't be surprised if the country threatned attempts to check you.

I've heard someone say that before years ago. I've studied farsi in the past, but not enough to translate. So I'm not necessarily at stake to say what was said and what wasn't. And I am not a supporter of right wing Likud party party rhetoric either. That being said, Iran has had plenty of opportunity to play ball with the IAEA. And if push comes to shove I would prefer to allow Israel to have a greater influence in foreign relations in the Mid-East than I would with Iran any day in terms of US interests.
