It's not the food that's addictive, it's the sugar and salt that's addictive. They're like drugs.

Remember that food doesn't make you happy. You might feel like you're happy very briefly because of the feelings these foods trigger in your mind while you're eating it but it isn't real happiness. It's self destruction in disguise :demonic:.

Damn Bruh. Was rooting for you. I was 305lbs Feb of 2013. Down to 235 right now. Long journey. Just gotta find your motivation and why.

In regards to food addiction, Arian Foster changed my life man. I think he was heavy on that vegan tip. And they were asking him how he did it. Basically broke it down to food being fuel for the body and not for enjoyment. Eating to live. Not living to eat. The concept literally changed my life. Haven't had a donut mcdonalds since February of 2013.

I do enjoy a cheat meal every Saturday. But if I feel like I didn't put the work in during the week I'll restrict it back to the fuel concept.

Man if this ain't the truth! My girl brought home a Western Bacon Cheeseburger from Carls Jr. One night and after a year of clean eating that shyt had me craving all types of bullshyt. My stomach was fukked for a solid day.

Start by not drinking regular soda....

Shakes are supplements so ideally you would use then when you can't fit in whole food for that protein requirement because of cost, time, fullness, etc. If you can get that general 0.8 to 1 pound of body weight per gram through normal diet you don't need it.

Caveat being at 295 pounds, 295 grams of protein per day isn't needed, 200-220 should be enough for now.

Hodge Twins are like everyone else, they dabble in different things and opinion change over time. I would say get a better base understanding before going to deep into what they are currently practicing.

Absolute zero need for a sweat suit. At your weight if you lock in the weight can come easy. Shedding water weight should really only be for people dieting down for combat sports, fitness competitions or photo shoots.

Count your calories and hit your macro goal (protein/fat/carbs).

Don't bother with that water weight shyt. Waste of money and not real gains.

I am going to they gym so it's not sedimentary but I run a hospital lab at night and it can be slow at times.
