Clay Davis is the type of nikka that you have to kill. When you're at that level of corruption there really isn't much you can do that would really intimidate him.

We know you can't just kill clay Davis. You gotta lean on a dude like that or blackmail him. Would've been nice for the lawyer who knew the game to school string before he got hustled

stringer was my fav....I thought he was the brain behind that shyt. that nikka could be a ceo somewhere else...he really didn't fit in the drug game like that. but yeah he wasn't the overall boss even though I preferred him.

and nikkas underrated prop joe. that nikka was also a street genius. would still be alive if his fakkit ass nephew wouldn't have sold him out to marlo.:stopitslime:

and marlo is just a straight street beast. nikka was emotionless and a cold blooded killa. the ironic thing is at the end, marlo was given everything that stringer wanted....but marlo didn't want that. he wanted people to remember his "name".:to:

Only thing killing Clay Davis gets you is a warm feeling in your belly. You still ain't legit.

Intimidating him won't work either. He won't fukk with you after that, so you still ain't legit and now he may use his influence to put heat on you from the cops out of vengeance.

Only real option is to NOT fukk WITH CLAY DAVIS!!!

He's simply not to be trusted, you have to find an honest guy.

Good luck finding an honest guy to help you launder your drug money :lolbron:

Prop Joe was real good to Marlo when he asked how to clean and launder his money..:yeshrug:

But then he told Omar about the card games and Marlo happened to be there :patrice:

I should clarify, cuz drug money gets laundered every day, b

I'm talking about turning into to this influential developer over night. You're gonna need political capital to do that. Good luck finding a guy to set you up to do that honestly.

Guys like clay Davis should only be used for incremental pieces to your own plan, they shouldn't be the plan. For instance, you wanna open a bar to launder your money, grease a Clay Davis to get the liquor license, don't have him setting up all the deals to open the place.

I've always felt they we're trying to set marlo up the same way they had stringer (except using a different tactic and fake paperwork) and Marlo just based on knowing where he stood in regards to those snakes said "nah, I'm good". Or to put it another way he knew who he was dealing with and didn't trust those lawyers.

:what: Marlo happened to be there? Prop Joe knew damn well Marlo would be there. That was his way of enticing Marlo to join the co-op.

So are you saying in a sense Marlo was smarter then Bell? Seeing that he knew the game and said naw, I'm good.

In a way yeah and no. Stringer was a great business man but his lack of street smarts got him done in. the same lack of street smarts got him hustled by those lawyers. Like Avon said " they saw his ghetto ass a mile away". Marlo knew what he was and accepted it, its why he was so adamant about how important maintaining his rep was. On the flip he probably knew that his money and illegal background made him look like something to eat to those lawyers. The lawyers were a necessary evil, like a contractor or a consultant. You always have to look at their motivations for the advice they give you.

Nah man. I gotta disagree. Marlo was never painted as smart. This is the same dude that had a new car in his own name, with no income. String had to tell him how stupid that was for him to even notice it. So the chances of him even entertaining the thought of "these legit business guys might hustle me" is slim to none, he just wanted to be in the streets.

Fred.
