Would be willing to give up Derek Barnett to move up in the draft?

Would we trade #21, Barnett and a 4th for the #12 pick from Oakland?

what you proposed is dumb. youre basically saying fournette isnt worth a 3rd rounder.
Yes, that’s exactly what I’m saying. In no way is Fournette worth a 3rd Round pick, especially not when you already have a much better starting RB on your team who not only runs better but can catch passes, too.

sanders is great but why run him into the ground? would be much better giving both 12-15 carries a game...with miles getting the bulk. What he had with Ajayi and Blount is the blueprint
You can get a Fournette/Ajayi/Blount-type RB for much less than a 3rd. Eagles traded a 4th for 2017 Ajayi and a 6th for Jordan Howard last season. They signed Blount for next to nothing. Why give up a valuable pick for an RB who’d just be a back-up on your team?

Y’all sleeping on Barnett. Y’all ready to give up that and THEN pay him max money for a position that is not our priority. :unimpressed:
Our defense lives and dies by its pass rush, DE is a premium position, and our best defensive end is a 32-year old Brandon Graham. If defensive end isn't an immediate priority, then it'll become one very soon. I think Barnett is average and, if it's a choice between paying him or Ngakoue, why would I not pay the better player?

oakland must be hell bent on a WR at this pt though...unless they go after a QB. either way, it wouldnt be beneficial for them to move back in the draft if all theyre getting is barnett

I would do this one in a heartbeat. Ngakoue is talented and young.

I was a huge Fournette fan when he was in college. He hasn't really lived up to the hype but that style if runner has flourished in this offense before. I think him and Sanders would be a deadly combo

Ngakoue would likely cost a first rounder and another 2nd to 4th round draft pick in 2020 or 2021.

So Fournette who has been trying to leave Jacksonville for a minute wouldn't be a bad throwin to the main piece of the trade Ngakoue.

So the value for Fournette is not a third rounder per se. Rather Fournette and Ngaouke would cost a first rounder and a third rounder plus a young corner. Rather it is Ngakoue who increased it to a third round pick than just Fournette alone.

I would prefer a rookie runningback but all I can say u know what u getting with Fournette rather than a rookie later round pick. He has been a 1000 yard rusher for the two seasons he played over 10 games, top 10 draft pick, 25 years old and on the last year of his rookie deal.

Aye, I wasnt about trading him, they whylin with that one to me.:hubie: he is on a rookie contract, shows glimpses at times and why lose instead of add to the d line rotation.

You are defending a DE who has less sacks in 35 games than Mike fukkin Mamula...you know the player regarded as the biggest bust in Eagles history (maybe aside from Danny Watkins) :mjtf:

yall keep talking about this rookie contract...its ONLY for this season...after that- you are gonna pay mr 5-6 sacks a year around 10M a year.
Normal GM practice would be to trying to trade a player like DB if you dont think he will be the player you hoped, when he has one year left on his rookie deal
