Just heard this on the radio Would u guys do this trade:jbhmm:

Eagles Get

Leonard Fournette

Yannick Ngakoue

2020 fourth round pick or 2021 fourth round pick

Jaguars Get

2020 First Round Pick or 2021 First Round Pick

2021 Third Round Pick

Rasul Douglas or Sidney Jones

I don't know brehs, I think I would pull the trigger on this.:patrice:
We don’t need Fournette. Sanders is faster, more explosive, blocks better, runs routes and catches out of the backfield. He’s better than Fournette at literally everything an RB is supposed to do and is less injury-prone on top of it all. I’m not giving up assets for Leonard Fournette.

I’d give up a 2021 1st and Derek Barnett and/or Rasul Douglas for Yannick Ngakoue, though. :ehh:

It’s lining up that we plotting for Hamler

I'd be happy with Hamler in the 2nd, just so long as the Eagles take one of Higgins/Reagor/Aiyuk/Mims in the 1st. Hamler has flags, for sure, but the man excels at getting separation and has absolutely game-breaking speed to go along with it. I'll risk a frustrating drop here and there for that, especially if the Eagles have a reliable #1 alongside him plus DJax to play the 'Z' receiver position.

Y’all sleeping on Barnett. Y’all ready to give up that and THEN pay him max money for a position that is not our priority. :unimpressed:

as long as Schwartz is here dline is always a priority- I know you ride the Barnett train so...ima fall back
fyi- I dont hate DB- I just think he has been ok
So you want us to give up a first round pick, Derek Barnett (who is still on a rookie contract), and then pay him max money (when we’re already negative next year), for a position we don’t need.

but in a different scenario you only want us to draft Hamler if we get another WR in the first round

No interest in giving up a 1st round pick + big money extension to a DE who's barely an upgrade over Barnett.

Ngakoue would need to produce like Danielle Hunter/Nick Bosa to justify that move and that's not him.

what you proposed is dumb. youre basically saying fournette isnt worth a 3rd rounder.

sanders is great but why run him into the ground? would be much better giving both 12-15 carries a game...with miles getting the bulk. What he had with Ajayi and Blount is the blueprint

i doont think were sleeping. he's just a good player. but i dont think hes athletic enough to be a premier pash rusher like some of these other guys. i wanted us to grab humphrey or watt that draft. bbut we gotta superbowl out of it so fukk it

I never said any of that, now would i trade barnett in a package for yannick, yes but i wouldnt give up a first rounder. DB is not untradable by any stretch. This is his final year on his rookie deal, personally i wouldnt pick up his 5th year option which is why trading him is not a crazy idea

I dont get your question about hamler

Yannick has a first round tag on him.

We don't need Fournette but he will be a luxury to have like Jordan Howard was for part of last year for us.

Sanders is the primary but as we all know these past three years, that injury shadow hangs over anyone on our roster. So it will be prudent to have a capable back up to Sanders.

Fournette still on his rookie deal too, I wouldn't oppose it.

But would u give the 2020 first rounder for Yanick tho?:jbhmm:

I pray we don't draft Justin Jefferson.

I'm watching the LSU-Vandy game from earlier in the 2019 season, he was getting free releases and running free all game. It was all drags, slants, square ins and outs from the slot against mostly zone. Barely lined up on the outside. He's not what we need.

Its all about the rotation for Schwartz's scheme, that's when this defense is at its best.. if u have Graham, Barnett, Ngakoue and Sweat rotating at the ends with Malik Jackson, Hargraves and Cox rotating at DT:whew:. They gonna get pressure all game and make our weakness at the linebacker and safety less glaring.

2017-2018 should be the blueprint on how we get back to the super bowl... Wentz doing Wentz with a deep threat at receiver, strong running game of a finesse back and power back with a solid defensive line rotation.
