Just did a mock draft simulator on PFF, which I like because it allows you to trade up/down and provides grades. Pretty fun:

#21 Jalen Reagor, WR – I came in planning to trade down from this spot, but no trade partner was available. I don’t believe the Eagles can get away with not picking a receiver in the 1st Round. So, between Reagor/Higgins/Aiyuk/Mims/Jefferson, I went with Reagor. We need speed, and we need an outside receiver, and Reagor’s probably the single best combination of those two. Could have gone Higgins or Aiyuk here, too.

(*Traded #53 and #127 to LAC for #57 and #84.)

#57 Bryce Hall, CB – Safety is the more pressing need in the short-term, but the prospect I was hoping for – Jeremy Chinn – got taken at #55. CB is a more long-term need, with Darius Slay here for the next three years, but it’s still a need. Bryce Hall was PFF’s highest-graded corner on the board.

#84 Matt Hennessy, G – Another long-term need here. Jason Kelce confirmed he was playing in 2020 (or whenever the next NFL season is), but he’s up there in years and we need to get another Center prospect. Or, if Seumalo moves over, we need a new Left Guard. I’d prefer Cesar Ruiz, but he got taken at #44 by IND. Hennessy is a decent consolation prize, though, and he’ll have a year behind Kelce to develop.

#103 K.J. Hill, WR – One of the reasons I’m so against picking Jefferson is because you can get good slot receivers later in the draft. Case in point, this guy. Hill is not much of a deep threat, but he’s an excellent route-runner who can create separation underneath, and has good hands. He’s a less expensive, more reliable, Nelson Agholor who would benefit from having Reagor and DJax to open up the field.

#145 Quintez Cephus, WR – One receiver is not enough for the Eagles in this draft. Two receivers might not even be enough for the Eagles in this draft. Cephus is more of a project than I think Reagor and Hill are, but for this late in the draft, I wouldn’t mind taking a chance on him.

#146 Shea Patterson, QB – The Eagles will probably take a QB somewhere in this draft, and they’ve shown some early interest in Patterson. I don’t know much about him, but PFF has him rated pretty highly.

#168 Tyre Phillips, T – Vaitai is on the Lions now, and with Lane’s propensity to get banged up for a few games every year, there needs to be some depth at the tackle position. Phillips was the highest-rated guy left on the board, and these are the late round picks where the best you really expect to find is depth, so I took him.

#190 Kenny Robinson, Jr., S – Meh, Eagles have a need at Safety, and I just chose whoever was left. McLeod, Mills, and Parks are all on short-term deals so it’s a position we’ll have to address.

FWIW, PFF graded my draft a 78.4 overall, which I'd guess is pretty good. Definitely prefer trading back to trading up. In this scenario I got to walk away with a three wide receivers (two of which I'm pretty high on, overall), a highly-ranked cornerback prospect, a potential Jason Kelce replacement, also some tackle depth.

I'd need to see the rest of that video for some context. He doesn't even say Philly or anything and it's too short of a clip

Kenny Robinson is a low key sleeper, played really well in the XFL, good instincts ...a true free safety

Thought this might interest Eagle fans

giving me that Markelle Fultz energy

In order to be successful here you have to embrace the city and its culture ...he already lost the fans ...his ig comments are heavily filtered, no doubt eagles fans mad

id pass on him if this is true and in context
