I mean...what other QB goes up to his WR (Greg Ward) after scoring his first ever TD and ask "what a way to pop your cherry" :mjlol:

:russ: I remember that shyt.

Breh is a lil corny but he dont give me those arrogant vibes. Like I didnt get those vibes that the team couldnt stand him as a person the way the media made it look.

Carson is from North/South Dakota. I’m in the military so I see cacs from all around the US. They are usually corny af like that, but it’s not a deal breaker. I don’t see him as a cancer in the locker room.

Me looking back on the situation now. I think ALL of it came from Orlando. I know majority of the people think it was alshon Jeffrey that said they were upset with Carson and he don’t spread the ball, but I think it was a fabricated story or it came from Orlando. Orlando had no business being on our team and us cutting him, and how he behaved afterwards showed it was in our best interest, and that we don’t put up with locker room cancers, and showed Orlando true colors

John McMullen broke it down during one of his radio segments mid-season, he basically confirmed the "issue" Carson has in the locker room was related to religion. He's very out and about regarding his faith and that rubs some guys the wrong way.

He made a great point acknowledging how Nick is just as out and about with his faith, if not more than Carson, so it really just comes down to winning. Type of thing that's only an "issue" when the season isn't going well.

I always thought the religion thing maybe an issue- more because someone that religious maybe judgemental and alienate themselves from those who aren't Jesus Warriors...Ike Reese made a comment once on air that kinda confirmed this. I am paraphrasing but he said- for the handful of times he has been in the building- he would suggest that Carson be more open to everyone on the team not just the bible boys....chill with the corners- play foosball with linbebackers...maybe eat lunch with the guy you know arent doing bible study later- as a QB you lead the entire team

Speaking on the current topic...
I think Foles knows how to relate to all the guys more.
Watch the Super Bow mic’d up, he just cool and can talk to everybody.
Carson was tight with Ertz, Jordan Matthews, Jordan Hicks, and Trey Burke and that’s bout it

I dont know breh, that anonymous source was there before Sankedrick arrived.

I took that source as a criticism of Wentz not checking the ball down and always looking for the big play causing him taking sacks and fumbling the ball.

I first thought it was an older O line men like Peter's because I was like why would a receiver care about the check downs since the ball is not coming to him but then that the connection between Josina and Alshon made me 90 percent certain, it was him.

But I dont think it was on some sabotage shyt, it was more like the source and coaches probably told Wentz to check it down more but he wasnt doing it. The the source went to the media out of frustration.

Wentz started listening especially to McCown later on and he finally consistently checked it down towards the end as Wentz developed trust in Sanders and Scott. And look the offense started moving better and he was taking less sacks.

Hopefully, it's the end of the anonymous source shyt

THEORY
Howie loves the fact that Jenkins was able to play all those snaps on defense and special teams. Now he can build in escalators for his contract that will appear achievable to the NFL. If he hits the escalators thats cool. He'll get more money. If he doesnt then we get back the cap space that was held for him next year as bonus. They can work out a deal but then insert a few escalators that both sides know arent gonna be met next season. like how Cullen Jenkins had a special teams snap count trigger and played 0 special teams snaps when he was with us.

Salary escalators: A salary escalator is similar to an incentive in that it is triggered by attaining certain performance thresholds. However, the extra money is not always guaranteed to be received.

An earned escalator translates into a raise in a future year of the contract. If the escalator applies to a non-guaranteed season and the player is released prior to it, he would not receive the benefit of his escalator. Contracts can also contain de-escalators that lower a player's salary for failing to reach performance measures.

Example: Keenan Allen earned a $2 million salary escalator in 2018 for recording 90-plus receptions and having the Chargers make the playoffs. His 2019 base salary increased from $8 million to $10 million.

Long twitter thread on the league leading 40+ yard plays we allowed and the ones that just missed the cut :hhh:

My biggest take away other than what we already knew (need a reset at corner) is how badly we need a safety who can play center field. McLeod can't do it anymore and that forced Schwartz to put Marcus Epps back there and he couldn't do it either. There's no point in paying both McLeod & Jenkins when they're both hybrid LBs at this point who need to be near the LOS, gotta move on from one.
