Long twitter thread on the league leading 40+ yard plays we allowed and the ones that just missed the cut


My biggest take away other than what we already knew (need a reset at corner) is how badly we need a safety who can play center field. McLeod can't do it anymore and that forced Schwartz to put Marcus Epps back there and he couldn't do it either. There's no point in paying both McLeod & Jenkins when they're both hybrid LBs at this point who need to be near the LOS, gotta move on from one.

I don’t see us keeping McLeod. Idk how shyt works in-depth, but I’m probably tag him with a 3rd round draft tag

There are some good options in the free agent market in Corey Littleton and Blake Martinez

I'm not the biggest Gerry fan but I do like TJ Edwards game

True, its just sad seeing zeke run rough shot through these nikkas. Gerry can't get off a block to Save his life.kamu got more physical talent than 90% of LBs in the league yet you don't see it. Bradham was literally the only physical player we had besides the dline. at this point you already know we will have no physicality again.

2016 & 2017 Bradham was legitimately good, and had games where he was great (@ Carolina TNF 2017 sticks out the most)

2018 & 2019 Bradham was just another dude on the field. He wasn't a liability but to make $8m at LB you gotta be more than a body. Love him for 2017 but it had to be done, I'd more than welcome him back at a lower number if his market doesn't form.

Although we dont prioritize LB, what we have on the roster is alarming, Geery is not good..aside from missed tackles...his instincts are poor. He gets lost on the field alot. I know he is a safety convert but this cant be the starting mike.

There's alot of LB talent in this draft. Simmons and Murray are legit 1st round guys and there's alot of high potential guys they can pick up later in the draft.


I think they love TJ Edwards though and we're gonna see alot more of him next year

Really hope they bring grugier hill back.

I also don't hate Gerry as much as everyone else. He had alot of big plays for us this year and was our most consistent guy at LB, but I think you're right that they probably put more on his plate that his talent can handle at this point
