Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Some of the reviews make it sound like a underwhelming type flick. Nothing to really brag about. Idk.
cause it's been done 2309481092482094 times already... will needs to go back to that list he had... the one that had the highest grossing movies of all time... then he'd determine what they all had, and he'd ONLY do movies that contained those things

will wasn't some legendary actor... he picked the right movies... every movie was a hollywood summer time blockbuster event... then he started either listening to the public or wanted to challenge himself... then we started getting all these basic ass movies.... and now he's not even the draw he used to be, based off nothing more than, he ain't doing the right movies

without reading a single review, preview or otherwise... let me tell you EXACTLY how this movie will go

will is the smooth slick talking, pimp pretty boy, hustler with all the schemes... they always work... he's a legend...

in comes in pretty white woman... she learns under him... and even while will's best friend in life tells him not to trust her.... he trusts her and falls in love/lust

she fukks him over and he's down on his luck... so he puts the band back together for one last score... but they run into... dum dum duuuuuuuuuuuuum... the pretty white woman

in the end the white woman, most likely being dikked down and also fukked over by the head villain... will turn on the villain and help will... will and her will get back together... taaaaaaaaaah daaaaaaaaaaaaah

ain't nothing new here.... at all... it'll flop... and will won't get another hit movie until that comic book joint... mainly because it's a comic book joint.. like i said before, he'll be back in a hollywood blockbuster again

Will Smith is set to push Fifth Shades Of Grey out of the top spot at the weekend box office. The star’s latest Warner Bros. film Focus, about a con man whose life is taken for a ride by a femme fatale played by Margot Robbie, is looking to gross $20M-$25M this weekend at 3,323 theaters. Thursday previews will hit about 2,000 theaters, and the pic will get an extra boost from 800 premium large-format and IMAX playdates. As of Monday, the R-rated noir comedy was tracking strongest among older men ages 45-55 but also showing solid interest from men and women over 25.

I was wondering how this movie could cost $100M and it seems like that tale came straight from Duckberg. Looks like it cost only $50M to make, significantly reducing any "flop" talk:

“Focus” cost $50.1 million to produce and is leaning heavily on Smith’s charisma in its television spots and posters.

I was wondering if that $100 mil price tag was real. That just seemed crazy. Good looking out breh

:whew: OK, this now looks it can be a hit. They even changed the budget number on Wikipedia.

Honetly the newer trailers look much better
Just saw a spot during The Americans.

Not sure if they used some late focus groups or something but initial trailers were lame.

Ita getting decent semi decent reviews so far
