MBDTF is the most overrated album in hip hop history. Five years have passed and I still have no idea why it's praised as much as it is. I liked instrumental on opening track but then it went all techno and shyt with long unnecessary interludes, poorly done hooks, moaning all over the tracks, overproduced beats overall and generally poor mixing. And Nicki had the best verse on entire album while Jigga was counting monsters and shyt.

From my experience only people who got into hip hop in last 1-2 years think of this album as some kind of masterpiece, real heads would never put it anywhere close top 50 even.

I think people are criticizing him in terms of his rapping skills , no one is denying he is a talented producer and that he didn't have a pivotal impact in that realm blueprint is self explanitory , but as far as a rapper he doesn't impress me at all and is the epitome of average when it comes to that , to me he should have never exceeded the producer role .
