I like Kanye music, had to detach his media attention whore theatrics from his actual work.

I still for the life of me dont get the hype for MBDTF... It's all over the place, bloated and you can really tell he got a lot of help on the lyrics. Every joint has a pointless 2 minute outro. He also leaked more than half of it himself, so I was bored on the first listen.

Yeezus and 808s grew on me and their creativity and influence makes sense

Kanye didn't do shyt except make a solid album or two and act like an immature cry baby faq in Hollywood. I wouldn't be surprised if he's diagnosed with schitzophrenia or Alzheimer's in a few years. The nikka is looney

You can't please everyone... Hiphop dropped baggy clothing and the newschool platinum rap artists in this digital age are sons of Ye

We're talking about his hiphop albums breh:why:

that's like a nikka talkin about a chick p*ssy dope or wack nikka talmbout "Man she had rose petals and incent" nikka that's not what the convo is about:dahell:

Look at the OP's first post... he's pitting Mobb Deeps production vs MBDTF with a 'cac' agenda

I put multiple hip-hop songs Ye produced..... outside of his own albums before 2008

If you include his RNB work, his own albums, careers launched/relaunched and the birth of the new school

It's not even fair.....nothing against Mobb Deep ..They are ill too in their own right but they never evolved

Case in point.....

Yeah
Interviewer: Do you care if you're misunderstood?
Kanye: I say what I want to say and if you like it, come right in. If not, stay outside. Certain tones are at dog-whistle frequency. Everything's not for everybody. But I have to say everything and do everything that's coming out of my body.
Interviewer: You can't hold anything back?
Kanye: Why would I hold things back? Wouldn't I die at some point?
Interviewer: Well, most people hold something back.
Kanye: I don't base my life off most people.

You talk all this soundscape gibberish to mask the fact that Kanye changed the course of Hip hop.

It isn't 2007 anymore... That first John Legend album was soulful and so was Commons Be

His sound birthed John Legend, Jamie Foxx and broke Estelle in the U.S.

Kanye innovates and experiments ...this dude literally killed off ghetto superthug rap with stadium rap.

I love Mobb but they aint seeing pre-2008 Kanye.

Nvm 808s which birthed this current class of rappers or MBDTF

Kanye West did not break Estelle in the U.S. All he did was drop a verse on her breakthrough single "American Boy" which was produced by will.i.am. His sound didn't necessarily birth Jamie Foxx either because Jamie's albums sound nothing like his collaborations with Kanye outside of maybe "Unpredictable" (the song). He helped break Jamie. Credit is owed to Kanye for John Legend's career, but will.i.am was key in John Legend's rise as well. "Ordinary People" is the song that really took John Legend to another level and that was produced by will.i.am.

Yall gon be mad but kanye only has 1 good album. MBDTF. I tried listening to College Dropout again and it's stale. Kanye has always been completely overrated, I respect Ye for pushing the boundaries and bein creative with his music, but most of it is :scusthov:

just a bunch of hipsters who wanna dress like him keep him alive.

:snoop:

I dont even fukk wit kanye but comparing him to nikkas like mobb deep is silly..

One has universal appeal while the other is loved mainly just on the east coast..
