Breaking Bad is a thriller and more of a crowd-pleaser than the Wire is. Two completely different shows and both are great at what they aspire to do. No need to shyt on one of them just to big up another.

This is the cycle. A show like the wire gets underrated for years, then people give the show its proper due and once said show gets its due its time to start calling it overrated.

Wire is the best TV series I've ever seen.
