:why: at not feeling season 4. That political shyt from season 3 was border line boring.

This is one of the GOAT scenes, any medium. TV, movie, whatever. I wish they showed after when Carver is in his car:

More recently I felt the same during the end of "Crawlspace".

The whole season 4 was :ahh:

I got the vibe that Namond was all talk damn near from the first scene. He talked too much shyt. Mike was the quiet one....then when he walked away from Monk and the money I was like :smugdraper:

Then when he mean mugged Marlo I was like :whoo: "this kid is gonna be a problem".

:childplease: Season 3 > Season 4....

I couldn't stand watching those kids breh.....

fukk no. You must not have kids, lil nephews or nieces. That shyt cut deep and the show portrayed perfectly how broken homes, the fukked up school systems in the inner city, and shytty neighborhoods lead to kids becoming career criminals and killers. When Randy and his foster mother got burned up after Carver promised him he'd be safe and the way he asked Carver how he was gonna help him.....:to:

Season 4 is the best season IMO. Those kids were innocents and seeing them decay like that just hit too close to home especially Dookie by the end of season 5. That scene where he went down that alley after Michael dropped him off looked like hell on earth.

I grew up with plenty of friends where similar shyt happened and having kids just emphasizes the shyt.

Season 3 is the overall best...that shyt was Shakespearean with the story and symbolism.

Season 4 is the most entertaining because of them kids.

Season 1 is just a raw classic.

Season 2 is underrated.

Season 5..... :ehh:

Its been a minute since I watched it too so my memory is a little fuzzy...but I believe the very first scene showed Bowtie and his nikka watching the towers come down and saying something like "change".

This was a powerful, symbolic scene because literally it meant one of the Barksdale Organization strongholds was gone which made them a little weaker from the previous seasons...but also figurative, because it represented the destruction of the Barskdale team (Avon & Stringer) and regime change in the streets (Marlo).

Thats one of many little symbolic gems u will find all through Season 3.
