Skid Row been getting raided regularly since the 80s:
Bradley Says He's Responsible for Skid Row Raids - Los Angeles Times
Nobody raided Hamsterdam because the police set it up.
:wtf: at you seriously not understanding the difference between apathy towards something, and actively cultivating it.

Fred.

lol @ "raided regularly" :pachaha::russ: ok breh...keep looking to Google for your answers. A couple of small raids from over 20 years ago isn't shyt compared to how long that place has existed in crime and filth.

BB isn't aiming to be realistic? :dwillhuh:

we comparing the The Wire and BB to Game of Thrones as far as realism goes? :mindblown:

ehh, fukk it I'm bowing out. we'll agree to disagree

People need to understand context.

The premise of "BB" is "a school teacher becomes Scarface". So, given the context, nothing that follows is unrealistic within the confines of that premise. I see people in here complaining how unrealistic it is that Walt took out (spoiler removed)....what the fukk show have you been watching? That was the entire concept behind the show, since before the first ep aired.

"The Wire" is supposed to be realistic, right? There is nothing inherently unrealistic in the premise of the show. However, they introduce several plot lines and character developments that do not fit the supposed realism of the show. The fake serial killer plot line for example....Omar running around with a broken leg murking Marlo's goons....a few other things.

I honestly don't understand how this is confusing.

lol so you basically trying to say bb is more realistic because they told us from the beginning the concept of the show is unrealistic :russ:

using your logic Game of Thrones is more realistic then the wire too since we knew the concept of that show from the beginning too
The premise of "LOST" is "a magical island". So, given the context, nothing that follows is unrealistic within the confines of that premise. I see people in here complaining how unrealistic it is that Walt (spoiler removed)....what the fukk show have you been watching? That was the entire concept behind the show, since before the first ep aired.

^^^see how dumb that sounds? but using you logic LOST is also more realistic then the wire

i hope youre just trolling breh :snoop:

Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying. :what: at this being some kinda hard to understand concept, or "trolling". The idea behind the show is a school teacher becomes Scarface.

Is this the fukking twilight zone? If you tuned into the show you've already accepted the obviously far-fetched idea that a teacher could become a drug kingpin. Likewise if you tuned into "Game of Thrones" you've obviously accepted that magic, undead, and dragons exist in that world.

There is no reason to accept that a fake serial killer plot would work in The Wire. There is no reason to believe that Omar would run around killing people while using a mop as a crutch after surviving a 4 story drop.

Why do you think season 5 of "The Wire" is so reviled by critics and fans alike, meanwhile "Breaking Bad" continues to receive praise? One being more realistic than the other has nothing to do with anything. One broke it's own rules, one didn't.

And "Lost" is a terrible example because by their own admission they made it up as they went along. They didn't establish any kind of rules. Read any of the David Fury interviews that popped up.
