I remember my bought me Ken Griffey jr's winning run, she saw the tag for the first Ken Griffey game and it was like 40 bucks cause it was old, and she thought I was getting that, when we went up to the counter it was like 70 bucks

Cole I can feel that story breh my dad was a deadbeat too but he would always try to compensate for that by buying me games. Funny thing was I was a kid and knew it but I always forgave him because I used to fiend for these damn games so much. The year after he bought me snes and I thought he was the best dad ever he bounced and I didn't see him again for like 7 years. Still got love for him though

Damn waiting for your game at the toys r us pick up window was one of the best feelings ever as a kid. I only got to experience that like once a year

That shyt was a crap shoot though. They didnt always have the game even if they had the ticket. Also sometimes they would have the games back there but there wouldnt be any tickets because nikkas would hide them until pay day.

They were doing great till they started releasing all those stupid addons. The one thing Sega had that could have killed nintendo if it got a wider release was Sega Channel.

The max most expensive snes games I saw that was 90.00 bucks was the super fx chip games like dk and star fox.
