Cole I can feel that story breh my dad was a deadbeat too but he would always try to compensate for that by buying me games. Funny thing was I was a kid and knew it but I always forgave him because I used to fiend for these damn games so much. The year after he bought me snes and I thought he was the best dad ever he bounced and I didn't see him again for like 7 years. Still got love for him though

i feel you, my dad helped buy me a ps1 years later, and when RE2 came out he bought me that too. but outside of that hes basically been a man in a childs body. it is what it is though.

They were doing great till they started releasing all those stupid addons. The one thing Sega had that could have killed nintendo if it got a wider release was Sega Channel.

i had sega channel and loved it, it was worth it, i only had it for two months, i cant remember why we didint have it anymore, but i remember world series 97 being on demo before it hit the shelves you could play for 5 minutes before it shut down, it was ahead of its time for real. i played shadowrun on that too, piff idea and system.

i also had an xband on snes, what yall know about that?

Yeah, I'm looking at this thread like where the hell is everyone living where games going for $80 plus? I was like Courtdog though with that SF2 snes about begging for it a year in advanced. When GamePro released that issue with like the 30 page preview for Street Fighter 2 that shyt became my bible, I took better care of that one magazine than any other book or porno mag I have ever owned.

Thank god for Blockbuster though, rental was the only way I was playing most of these games regardless of the price.
