wait so what you do reheat it in the afternoon? why not just put it on in the morning?

We don't put it on in the morning because of our work schedules....it would be burnt to a crisp by the time the mister or myself got back in so our solution is overnight. He gets home a bit before I do in the evening so he just takes it out the fridge and puts on low or keep warm so its ready to eat by the time I get home from work

but the low setting should give you about 10 hours or so or you can try an outlet timer which would be inexpensive at Home Depot and such

but if by any chance you need to get a new model I suggest one with a timer and a temperature probe

I know you guys have probably gotten used to your routine but I love opening that lid for the first time and eating that warm juicy meat

nah I got some old relic that has served me well for years but this is the highest rated model under$100 around and what I would get if I were to buy a new one

How many Quarts is your current one? I'm only cooking for myself so I don't know if I need 6 quarts...still might get it though.

I have an 8 quarts that I know is overkill but thats was a gift and a small 4 quart thats basically only for sauces and such

8 quarts is for like a family of 6+

for 1 or 2 people 4 quarts is recommended but I think thats too small

Coming in this thread seeing how good y'all eat then going to eat cereal for dinner :sadbron:

breakfast is one of my favorite meals

people are always shocked I get so much out of 2 egg whites and 1 whole egg

I just keep adding vegetables to the mix as well as some tofu

you can make some imitation scrambled eggs with tofu or just use it to fill in as such
