Nothing wrong with the box mix - it’s all the same dry ingredients except they put buttermilk powder in it so people only have to use water or regular milk. I’ll put Birch Benders Buttermilk pancakes up against homemade any day

I dunno. like most foods, I think it takes better when u mix all the fresh ingredients yourself. real buttermilk trumps buttermilk powder or powdered eggs IMO

Husband made a request for some Cajun chicken pasta and garlic cheese bread.

chicken parmesan came out . aldi crab cakes were hittin as well.

Made brunch for hubby and his friends.
Homemade biscuits n gravy, cheese eggs
Made apple cinnamon waffles and maple pepper bacon too but couldn’t get pictures because they got eaten too fast.

Didn’t last long. I tried telling them…it’s an appetizer….not a MEAL.

Todays brunch was eggs royal with sweet potatoes, beets, spinach and arugula. I also made a protein shake with strawberries medjool dates, pears, bran flakes, oats, almonds, raisins, pumpkin seeds, protein powder and creatine.

I had this dish, matapa, at a Mozambican restaurant in Lisbon years ago. It’s crab, shrimp, kale, and peanut curry stew. I looked up the recipe and took a shot.
